About Us
SOCH is a social impact nonprofit based out of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India founded by Shivangi
Goel, is committed to empower Unprivileged Communities. SOCH takes a firm stand for the LGBTQ+
communities and Anti-Bullying.
We are registered under section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013) and rule 18 of the
Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014 as Social Organization Connecting Humans.

About Project Pride
We take pride in our efforts towards the upliftment of this greatly undervalued set of people among us
who we strongly believe deserves better status and acceptance in our society.
In a span of 5 months, We have done 20+ workshops and 50+ Instagram lives on Gender Sensitization
and Anti-Bullying by which we were able to impact 25k+ lives.
Sensitization sessions with employees from various companies like EY, Love in
Store , KPMG, and with many schools and college students of IIT Delhi .

Why is it important
1. 42% students from class 4th to 8th are bullied. 10% of this students drop out from School because of this
2. Indian students are the one who are cyber bullied the most, 25% of which turn to self harm.
3. In a survey conducted, more than half of the students are not aware of cyberbullying laws, and 58.2% have
no clue where to report or what action should be taken against the bully
4. CBSE and other Educational boards have made it mandatory for schools to conduct gender sensitivity and
anti bullying sensitization for schools in year 2009 and 2019.
