OUR INTRODUCTION
"Do not follow where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path &
leave a trail."
These words of 'Ralph Waldo Emerson 'have been an inspiration to us.
Today, AIDER is a name, synonymous with success, because we seize every
opportunity and work restlessly towards attaining new milestones. All our
actions, thoughts and practices have been influenced by our inner desire to
succeed.
Striving for excellence is a skill, which can be cultivated and a mindset, which
can be fostered.
Children are our most valuable resource and we nurture them with utmost
love, care and compassion. We instil in them long term values such as
discipline, commitment, preservance which will help them in every sphere of
life -from success in exams to winning a marathon. As educators, our role is
to provide the children appropriate tools with which they can cultivate their
own gardens of knowledge.
Our other main motto is *Women Empowerment* and we focus on home
workers and migrant workers. There is a great truth to the saying 'you cannot
do it alone'. We are truthfully thankful to Next PLC, who is giving us
encouragement, a strong helping hand and consistent support in all our
endeavours. The unflagging resolve and dogged persistence of our faculty
and students has led us to the path of Glory.
As a part of our Aider Next project, we have a Play School, one Computer
Centre, Tuition Centre and a Tailoring Unit in Badarpur. Here, children are
imparted valuable skills and knowledge without any fees or charges. AIDER
also provides breakfast and lunch to all children of play school. We believe in
honing these little bundles of joy with love and proper nutrition.

we organise dental camps every now and then, for home workers and their
families. That camps have been arranged very beautifully with Dentist and
Orthodontist Dr Pravin . Dr Praveen is a valuable asset to Aider team. Our
organization provides a full dental checkup and distributes prescribed
medicines to patients. Aider do assessment in dental health of populations
rather than individuals.
There are plenty of compelling reasons to start healthy lifestyle changes at
any age. Whether it is eating more fibre, drinking more water, cutting down
on sugar or exercising regularly, they all help in keeping your calories under
control.
We kept a Nutrition camp on the same day of medical camp.
Our head cook made khichdi with pachrangi daal (lentil). Pachrangi means to
mix five lentils with rice. She poured all green veggies and tomatoes for
vitamin C.All students, patients, faculty had that delicious khichdi.
Honest efforts always get the best results.
As a healthcare provider, there is more to responsibility than treating people
and improving their lives... something that could take health care to the next
level of trust.... responsible healthcare.
At Aider, the ethics of care is defined by commitment in small things -
attitude, empathy, response mechanism. We are doing more than protocols.
We keep medical camps in every month. Dentist, eye- specialist, physician,
gynaecologist and child specialist use to visit in Aider.

STRESS MANAGEMENT AND ETHICAL TREATEMENT
WORKSHOP
Mr Neeraj Gupta, a mentor of happiness program, visited on 10 th march to handle this problem, in a
proper way. Owing to intense competition students often face a dilemma. This leads to a lot of
confusion, anxiety and sometimes depression. This is where, a counsellor comes into picture.* We
eradicate stress from heart of children. Aider is
creating great teams, respect and trust amongst
members, leads to the formation of a formidable
team.

Karan, a name of our deserving volunteer, took a
class of ethics. Sometimes, we forget the
meaning of selfless love and care. His gestures
showed a lot about his unique personality. He
said, “its necessary to reduce the anger and put
yourself in creativity.”The class was taken by Mr
Karan on 10th of March. He is a motivator to all of
our students. “Doesn’t everyone suffer in one
form or another? Just because a person is good
doesn’t mean, there will be no suffering in his
life,” he added. He emphasized that putting pen
to paper can make one a “thought leader”, so he
motivated the girls for creative writing. The girls
opened with their perceptions and aim of life. A
cheerful person is more resilient against negative
events, and more suited to face adversities in life. So Karan showed his grandeur linguistic power
and asked the girls to get more truthful. We all are grateful to his attitude of giving and capture
talent.

Path of excellence……. Eleanor Roosevelt once
said “The future belongs to those , who believe
in the beauty of their dreams’. Aider is the
dreamland of Mr. V.K. Jha, to create a quality
school, where children get motivated to learn
and acquire skills to succeed in any
environment. Many people dream big, but few
realize them.

Personality development is defined as a
process of developing and enhancing one’s
personality. Personality development helps
an individual to gain confidence and high
self esteem.
Personality development also is said to
have a positive impact on one’s
communication skills and the way he sees
the world. Individuals tend to develop a
positive attitude as a result of personality
development.Every individual has his own
characteristic way of behaving, responding
to emotions, perceiving things and looking
at the world. No two individuals are
similar.
You might like going out for parties but your
friend might prefer staying back at home reading
his/her favourite book. It is really not necessary
that if you like partying around, your friend will
also like the same. Here comes the role of
personality. What an individual sees in his
childhood days and most importantly his/her
growing days form his personality. How an
individual is raised plays an important role in
shaping his/her personality.
Personality is nothing but the aggregate
conglomeration of memories and incidents in an
individual’s entire life span. Environmental factors, family background, financial conditions,
genetic factors, situations and circumstances also contribute to an individual’s
personality.Personality also influences what we think, our beliefs, values and expectations.
What we think about others depends on our personality. Our organisation tends to work on
personality development. We avail English language classes, personality development and
motivation classes for all students. One of our student, is working in Indigo Airlines, as an
executive and taking a handsome salary, after taking these classes in Aider.
Ms Neha Bhatia, a prominent Motivator, lecturer and educator, visited in AIDER. She
motivated the girls and made them understand the value of a 'smile'.
A smile, which is contagious, a
smile, which can impress
anyone. A smile, which can
force us to forget glooms and a
smile can start a new life, once
again.
So she lectured on self
motivation, self assessment
and definition of happiness.
Almost all students and
teachers attended this session.

FESTIVITIES
We celebrated the day with love and fun.
33 | A I D E R
We give special importance to festivals. Special arrangements are made for the celebration
of various festivals each year. Some of the main Indian festivals include Diwali, Holi, Raksha
Bandhan, Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Puja, Dussehra, Pongal and Bhai Duj.
Aider loves celebrating the festivals . Each Indian festival has its own unique way of
celebration and people follow the tradition while celebrating the same. However, some
things remain common for instance we decorate here with flowers and lights during the
festivals and wear new clothes. Special sweets are prepared to treat the students.
We also hold great regard for the National festivals of the country. Gandhi Jayanti,
Independence Day and Republic Day are the three national festivals of our country. These
festivals are a symbol of unity and progress. They remind us of our patriotic leaders who
served the country selflessly. National festivals are celebrated with equal zeal. The entire
atmosphere is filled with the feeling of patriotism during these festivals.
All in all, Aider celebrates both religious and National festivals with great enthusiasm.
Children as well as elders look forward to the festive celebrations...
We give special importance to all festivals. Special arrangements are made for the
celebration of various festivals each year. Be it the villages or the big cities there is joy all
around. All the places are decked up during the festival season. Some of the main Indian
festivals include Diwali, Holi, Raksha Bandhan, Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Puja, Dussehra,
Pongal and Bhai Duj.
People in our country love celebrating the festivals with pomp and show. Each Indian
festival has its own unique way of celebration and Aider follows the tradition while
celebrating the same. However, some things remain common for instance we decorate our
centre with flowers and lights during the festivals and wear new clothes. Special sweets are
prepared at centre to treat the children.
Aider students' also hold great regard for the National festivals of the country. Gandhi
Jayanti, Independent day and Independence day.
All in all, we celebrate both religious and National festivals with great enthusiasm. Children
look forward to the festive celebrations.
Indian festivals are thus important for the students in more than one way. These are a great
way to bond with the near and dear ones and also to know about the country’s rich cultural
past.
34 | A I D E R
The Independence Day of India, which is
celebrated religiously throughout the Country
on the 15th of August every year, holds
tremendous ground in the list of national days,
since it reminds every Indian about the dawn of
a new beginning, the beginning of an era of
deliverance from the clutches of British
colonialism of more than 200 years. It was on
15th August 1947 that India was declared
independent from British colonialism, and the
reins of control were handed over to the
leaders of the Country. India's gaining of
independence was a tryst with destiny, as the struggle for freedom was a long and tiresome
one, witnessing the sacrifices of many freedom fighters, who laid down their lives on the
line.
Aider inculcates the feeling of patriotism among students. A lot of cultural programmes held
here on 15th August and 26th January.
We distributes sweets, samosas and toffees, in our centre, on this gracious day.
35 | A I D E R
Raksha Bandhan 2019: The bond shared by
siblings is extremely special, and the
festival of Raksha Bandhan is a celebration
of the same. On this day, as per tradition,
sisters tie a sacred thread or knot aound
her their brother’s wrist, whichV is
symbolic of her love for him while also
seeking his protection in return. This year,
the day is being celebrated on August 15.
The festival is primarily celebrated in the
Northern belt of India, as well as across the
North western parts of the country. It is
also celebrated in Nepal with utmost
enthusiasm. Even though the origin of the day is not precisely known, there are several
stories in mythology that refer to the festival.
One of them is about the bond of trust between King Bali and Goddess Lakshmi. It is
believed that King Bali confined Vishnu in his house after defeating him thrice. But Lakshmi,
to get her husband back, ties a thread around King Bali’s wrist and in return asks him to
mark this bond of compassion and faith. King Bali couldn’t refuse, and was forced to send
Lord Vishnu to her.
According to another story, Lord Krishna once cut his finger while flying a kite. Seeing blood
coming out of his finger, Draupadi ran to help and tore a piece of cloth from her sari and
tied it on his bleeding finger. Lord Krishna was extremely pleased by her gesture and
promised to protect her from all evil thereafter.
Later, as is known, he protected her from the
Kauravas.
Over the years, the day has gathered more
meanings, signifying not just sibling love but also
communitarian harmony, and have also been
used by environmentalists in their bid to save
trees. The day, ultimately, stands for love and
compassion.
Every year we celebrates this festival in our play
school.
Small girls tie rakhis on boys' hands.

AIDER STANDS FOR A FLOURISHING
REPUBLIC:
Republic day is a festival of
reiterating the ideals of freedom,
equality, sovereignty and fraternity.
This is an occasion to celebrate India
and the spirit of being Indian.
Let us come together and fulfill our
duties to make a new India, which is
clean, and free from corruption, dirt,
poverty, terrorism, casteism,
communalism.
Aider wishes heartiest greetings on
Republic day and Independence day.
We celebrate the day with proud
every year.
We kept a cultural program this year
also and distributed toffies among all
students.
It's an absolutely fantastic feeling to
love your country because eventually
we are what we are, because of our
nation; we are safe so thanks to it. The
idea of loving our country should be
protected. We are all grateful to our
jawans at the border for keeping us
safe.
So we pleasantly celebrated the day.
Let's have a glance!
