Pi Day- Tuesday 14th March

Dear Parents,
As announced next Tuesday is Pi Day. To celebrate this, in primary, we are doing a
number day filled with different maths activities. Below I have assigned each child a
number from 0-9 and they can dress up as this number on Tuesday (any
interpretation of the number is welcome). There will also be a prize for the top 3
costumes across primary classes.

Also, with your child it would be great if you could create your own challenging maths
problem or brain teaser. These will then be sent to our partner school in Shanghai
and we will receive theirs. In Year 1 we have covered addition and subtraction to 20,
numbers to 50 and 2D and 3D shapes. Please, send yours by email to Ms.
Vasilokonstantaki at avasilokonstantaki@educator.orbital.education .

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Kind regards,
Hannah Jones
