There is an explicit halacha in Shulchan Aruch pertaining to pesukim shouted aloud and ending with the recounting of
children and the reading of the Megillah (Orach Chaim, 689:6): Purim miracles and imparting of Yirat Elokim to our children.
:‫ִמנְ הָ ג טוֹב לְ הָ ִביא ְקטַ ִּנים ו ְּקטַ ּנוֹת לִ ׁ ְשמֹעַ ִמ ְק ָרא ְמגִ לּ ָה‬ The Rama 4 says (Orach Chayim 690):
It is a good tradition to bring all children to hear the ‫נָהֲ ג ּו הַ ִּתינוֹקוֹת לָצוּר צו ַּרת הַ ּ ָמן עַ ל עֵ צִ ים וַ אֲ בָ נִ ים א ֹו לִ כְ ּתֹב‬
reading of the Megillah. ‫ׁ ֵשם הַ ּ ָמן ֲעלֵיהֶ ם וּלְ הַ כּ ו ָֹתן זֶה עַ ל זֶה ְּכ ֵדי ׁ ֶש ּי ְִמ ֶחה ׁ ְשמ ֹו עַ ל‬
The concept is very nice, but what is the chiddush here? Is ‫ש ִעים ְיִר ָקב ו ִּמזֶּה‬ ָ ׁ ‫דֶּ ֶר ְך ָמחָ ה ִּת ְמ ֶחה אֶ ת זֵכֶ ר ע ֲָמלֵק וְ ׁ ֵשם ְר‬
