Knowing the learner profile will help you to understand your learners better, therefore allowing
you to adopt a suitable instructional methods, learning solutions on the learners. You then can
engage the learners better, and effectively. With the learners, learning better, through the
different methods, solutions and tools, the learners will be able to meet the learning outcome, and
also enjoy the process.
Q2: Regarding the Written Assignment 1b, explain how the lesson plan was adapted to align
with learner needs, profiles and active learning qualities.
As my profile is undergraduate and young adults, I had to make the lesson interactive and
compelling for the learners. With the active learning strategies, I was able to get responses from
the learners to encourage cross learning, and peer learning. When the plan is written, it set me up
for success as I am aware of the objectives of the different part of the lesson plan, and not just
using the guidance of the Learning Outcomes.
Q3: Share at least one (1) improvement in how you could adjust the lesson could adjust the
lesson plan during your Practical Performance in response to learners’ progress and evolving
needs.
I enjoyed the demonstration and the performance of my learners, also the One Minute Paper,
which is your favourite steps of the Sales Process. I could cater time for more interaction. Allow
the learners to share their view points, in that case, gives me opportunity to know where my
learners are at. Case in point, my Kahoot game, I could have spend some time understanding
why they made a different answer, this will allow me to clarify their misunderstanding and
doubts.
Q4: Based on your experience of this module, share three key critical success factors for
effective design and delivery of classroom-based learning and how you will continue to further
your professional learning in this area.
