GEAR PUMPS/MOTORS
Salami is an Italian company still owned by the Salami family. Salami’s headquarters and
manufacturing plant are located in Modena, a north Italian town very popular for high tech
mechanical parts.
Salami’s owner, Mr. Giuseppe Salami, started the company in 1956. Since then, it has grown
substantially, and today manufactures directional control valves and external gear pumps and motors for
mobile equipment such as fork lift trucks, farm tractors, truck cranes, agricultural machines, garbage
trucks, earth moving machines etc.

Marzocchi Pompe was founded in 1961 by Guglielmo and Stefano Marzocchi, in Casalecchio
di Reno, on the outskirts of Bologna. Today, Marzocchi Pompe leads an industrial group -
the Marzocchi Group - that employs more than 400 people.
Since their inception, Marzocchi Pompe, have developed their capabilities and their product range, and
are now among the major manufacturers of external gear hydraulic pumps and motors worldwide.
Pumps are produced in several combinations of shafts and flanges, according to different standards, and
special versions are possible for low and high temperatures and for special fluids as well.
Marzocchi Pompe offers one of the widest product ranges in its sector: displacements from 0.19 cc/rev
up to 200.3 cc/rev and pressures up to 300 bars. Their products are mainly used in mobile (on and off
highway), industrial power packs and mini power packs.
