This document compares two frameworks for improving student learning: the 7 P's framework focuses on pedagogical challenges in a blended learning environment, while the TIM framework uses a matrix approach to reach transformation in technology integration by assessing current integration and reinventing methods, while ensuring five characteristics of meaningful learning.

Comparing Frameworks 7 P’s & TIM Comparing Frameworks
The 7 P’s are the pedagogical challenges to improve student
learning in a blending learning situation. Incorporating the 7 P’s into a blended classroom can increase the overall learning experience. The TIM Framework is built on a matrix approach, in which the goal appears to be reaching the transformation level of technology integration by breaking down where we are and reinventing to get where we’re going. At the same time making certain to meet all five characteristics of a meaningful learning environment in the process.
