1.Introduction
According to the website to write online, all professions are important for our lives. Knowing
which career to follow is essential in life, because exercising a trade is creating a commitment to
society, such as educating, informing or preserving.

In the article, the importance of professional choice and the impact generated on society by
Polary Junior, it is necessary to make it clear that a good professional is not the one who has the
best grades in academic life, but one that manages to impact the society to which it serves in a
positive way.

The co contente also adresses the idea of Dias and Soares (2007), the professional choice is part
of a professional project that implies thinking about the future, building a scenary of realization
of interests and desires and wich must be estabilished from self-knowledge.
It is noticed that the importance of each profession in society is related to the function that each
occupation has, for exemple, teaching and negotiating.
That is, the performance of each job drives human behavior and the world economy, through the
exchange of services and the sale of physical or digital products.

1.1 Occupations and professions
By defition, profession is the name of the job that the person prepared to perform, be it in a
technical school or in a college, while the occupation is the position held, that is, what the
professional takes care of.

1.2 Occupations
Staring by occupations, what is an occupation?
The concept can also be used in the sense of work, craft, job, etc.
Human occupation, the term activity was defined as an instrument of profession or related to the
action of the subjcts.
The term occupation was defined as fundamental for the organization of human life, considering
that activities are part of human occupations.
It is important to understand that occupations are activities that we want or have to carry out
throughout our day, they include activities of daily living such of hygiene, food, household
management, playing in the case of children.
Exemple: carpentry is my main occupation, although i am a mechanic.

2. Professions
While a profession is a specialized job or activity within society, usualy carried out by a
professional, some activities require studies of a given knowledge
Exemple of some professions and what they do:

2.1 The law- course aims to train people who know how to apply theb laws of a country in
diferent contexts.

2.2Doctor - is the professional who seeks to diagnose, treat and cure sick people, he can be a
generalist, that is attend to all types of medical referals, or specialize in some specific activity or
function.

2.3 Police - is an general terms, police is the activity of whatching, many governments have a
police institution for law enforcement, by extension the term police is also used to designate
corporations and people whose main function is the exercise of that activity.

2.4.The teacher - is a person who teaches science, art, technique or other knowledge. For the
exercise of this profession, academic an pedagogical qualifications required, so that the student
can teach the study content in the best possible way, in addition to the responsibility of teaching
children , young people and adults and adults within the classroom, that is, these educators share
knowledge that is capable of impact the course of society in positive and significant way.

2.5.Civil engineer - the civil engineer is the professional responsible for the construction process
of buildings, houses, viaducts, tunnels and dams. It is he who carries out the design,
management, execution and supervision of the projects.

2.6.Mechanical engineer - the mechanical engineers are responsable for carrying out activities
aimed at mechanical systems, encompassing the macro areas of the profission: materials,
manufacturing, process, fluid/termal, mechanical projects and management.

2.7.IT engineer creates - develps, selects and evaluates computer systems applications, ensuring
their reliability, security and quality.

2.8.Fire fighter - fights urban, rural and forest fires, carry out rescue at height.

Conclusion:

In this present work, we conclude that occupation gives meaning to our lives, it is very common
to hear someone say keep your head busy, it makes a person feel better, in addition it gives
meaning to our daily lives.
The profession or occupation are essential for there to be knowledge and culture.
