Rationale

In the present day, one of the best measures of scientific progress in a country is the research
situation in their scientific communities. Therefore, the concern over conducting scientific and
accurate research has increased in most countries, both industrial and developing. This trend
may be due to the desire to resolve the health care problems in their communities, to establish
independence from other countries or to compete with them.

Research is a systematic process to achieve new knowledge, science or invention by the use
standard methods. Insufficient attention to research by a government and the educated
members of a community may contribute to scientific and knowledge lag within the national
community but also in the world as a whole. Sometimes the trend in research is favored by
educated members, while the shortfall in basic and valuable research may reflect other factors
that have influence on the research. The three main factors seen to impact on research success
in the literature are: attitude to, knowledge of and barriers toward research.

Adequate knowledge of the study subject and awareness of research principles are essential
prerequisites for any study. Some previous studies of medical students showed that they had
inadequate knowledge of the scientific inquiry process, but that they were nonetheless
interested in pursuing research in the future.

proposal/ report
II. Communicate evidence of success of SALIK – SURI program in school/ municipality
III. Recognize researches through Awards and Recognition

Focal person during school/municipal activities regarding research.
Manages and leads a team of research.
Motivates the team and access their performance.

Teams official mentor in terms of research work, plans and activities.
Guides the team leader as well as all teachers in making researches.
Final say on the purpose and plans of activities.

ACTION BASIC
The data shows that past three years proposed researches by the school
community. From the range of 20 to 25 personnel the number of proposed
researches never been reaching the quota. During the school year there were 2
action researches proposed while on the same year 8 basic researches where also
proposed. The following years showed that no action researches where proposed.
One reason of it was the spread of pandemic and basic researches are at priority.

PROPOSED PUBLISHED
The figure showed the comparison of proposed and published researches within
the past 3 years. On the school year 2020-2021, two researches were proposed but
zero had been published/finish, while on the next year 7 proposed researches were
made.
b. Plan for the SALIK-SURI Program
With the team used of the focal group discussion planning the program was been
successful. Giving their own opinion and massive brainstorming things were made easier
and possible. The effort of learning the task and planning such activities were made possible
by good team work and good communication.

c. Communicate the work plan
Work plan has been checked, proofread, approved and signed by the team
consultant. It was given additional suggestion and improvement for the betterment of the
activities.
At this point crafting the training proposal is up next.
II. MOVS
A. Focus Group Discussion/Planning of Work plan
In line with the research conducted at San Roque Elementary School, we are on the urged to
help and elevate teacher’s capabilities and mindset regarding researches.
Four research paper for San Roque Elementary presented during 3rd District Virtual Final
Colloquium held on November 19, 2022
