Investiture

II. Rationale Investiture Ceremony is one of the most important ceremonies in

Scouting. It marks the formal acceptance of the boys and girls in the
movement after they have completed the requirements of membership
and fully understand the essence .It gives them the thrill of belonging
to a group and makes them feel ready to face new responsibilities.
One of the major thrust of Education is Values Education. The present
conditions are characterized by value conflicts and value distortions,
and there is a great demand to help the young people examine their
lives, their goals, feelings and aspirations. Scouting provides our youth
with an opportunity to try new things, provide service to others, build
self.
Confidence and leadership skills. Scouting will not only help when
they are young but they can carry it with them in their adult lives. They
learn how to make good choices and to take responsibility for their
actions. It will also help guide our youth to set examples and become
leaders rather than being involved in drugs or other bad decisions.
