AGENDA FOR DEBATE COMPETITION OF CL1

ASEAN Voices Climate Change Debate Competition (CL1)


Venue: Virtually ZOOM Meeting
Date: 13 – 14 August 2022
Start 8:00 AM – 15:30 PM - Bangkok Time / 9:00 AM – 16:30 PM – Singapore Time

Objectives:
 To create an online safe space especially for ASEAN youths to freely have a diplomatic discussion &
exchange information about environmental matters that occur in their following countries.
 To reach and encourage the youths from ASEAN countries to come together and work on cross-boundary
environmental projects.
 To support the local NGOs in ASEAN countries to collaborate together on a regional scale and support each
other (via the use of technology and social media).
 To promote further cooperation between related stakeholders, such as government, private sectors, civil
society organizations, SMEs and link them with local NGOs and active youths to initiate external
collaboration to overcome climate change.
