INTRODUCTION:-

Welcome to newly designed website movie ticket booking is a

faster, cleaner and a tad more personal website, specially designed
to make your booking experience better. Log on, navigate and find
out for yourselves and if time permits leave your valuable feedback.
Customers may view the contents of any movie show at any time and
may book any movie ticket as needed. The program automatically
calculates the subtotal and grand total. When a visitor decides to
finally book the ticket, the order information including the buyer's
name, address and billing instruction is stored in the database securely
and payment has been made. The combo booking is also provided at
the time of booking the ticket and there’s a wonderful facility of
delivering the combos at your seat when you are watching the movie.
You need to register a new user whenever you have first visited
or site then for future it will be stored in our database permanently
and you can book you movie ticket at any time you want with this
username and password.

 The online ticket booking system project explains about concept
of developing a web-based bus ticket buying system. This project is
implemented in Java Spring MVC Hibernate technologies, as the back
end. In the present scenario usage of the internet had grown rapidly
and most of the work is done through an online process as we see
most products are purchased from websites and bus tickets are booked
form online.

Though there are many online bus ticket reservation systems

available on the internet we develop an application that will a real-
time experience on an online website. This project provides detailed
information with the project source code database.

Using these web portals users can book tickets, cancel tickets,
know the availability of tickets, and the cost of tickets, and many
other features which are available on every online reservation website.

automatic system. After the data has been fed into the database, the
staff does not need to do anything with the order once it is received
through the system.

The project objective is to book cinema tickets in online. The

Ticket Reservation System is an Internet based application that can be
accessed throughout the Net and can be accessed by anyone who has
a net connection. This application will reserve the tickets. This online
ticket reservation system provides a website for a cinema hall where
any user of internet can access it. User is required to login to the
system and needs a credit card for booking the tickets. Tickets can be
collected at the counter and Watching movies with family and friends
in theatres is one of the best medium of entertainment after having a
hectic schedule. But all this excitement vanishes after standing in
hours in long queues to get tickets booked. The website provides
complete information regarding currently running movies on all the
screens with details off show timings, available seats. Ticket
reservations are done using credit card and can be cancelled if needed.
Our online tickets reservation system is one of the best opportunities
for those who cannot afford enough time to get their tickets reserved
standing in long queues. People can book tickets online at any time of
day or night. Our reservation system also provides option to cancel
the tickets which are reserved previously.

OBJECTIVES OF PROJECT :-
 The main objective of the Movie Ticket Booking System is to
manage the details of Seats, Booking, Customer, Payment, Shows. It
manages all the infor- mation about Seats, Movie, Shows, Seats. The
project is totally built at administrative end and thus only the
administrator is guaranteed the access. The purpose of the project is to
build an application program to re- duce the manual work for
managing the Seats, Booking, Movie, Customer. It tracks all the
details about the Customer, Payment, Shows.
The main purpose of Online Movie Ticket Booking system project
is to provide an automated system of buying movie ticket. Now
customer can get to know movie show timing and buy tickets online
via internet 24×7. Admin has full control over all modules of this
application. Admin can add new movie details and poster. After that
he enters movie schedule and booking opening date. Customer can
view this schedule and book ticket in his desired show time. Customer
should register themselves on the web portal for buying ticket.

Online cinema Ticket Booking System project is aimed to

provides facility to book cinema tickets anytime and from anywhere.
One objective of this project is to minimize the number of staff at the
ticket-box window. Promote new movies over the internet and gain
maximum profit. Provide a 24×7 service to the customer.

The project "Online Movie Ticket Booking System" is dedicated

to the general requirements of multiplex theaters. The main objective
of the project is to create an Online Movie Ticket Booking processing
that allows customers to know about new movies, their schedules,
cinema locations, class and ticket price etc.

In the booking process when customer selects his city then cinemas
of that city are filtered. In next step he/she selects his desired cinema
where he/she wish to see movie, then selects movie and other details
like show date, show time, class and no of tickets. Based on given
parameters a graphical layout of scat status is visible to the customer.
Now customer can select his desired seat location and number of
seats. The Administrator will be able to see all booked and canceled
tickets.

There are several reasons why a business would opt for an

online booking system. Some of them include;

1. Remote - An online system allows customers to access

services from the comfort of their homes. As long as a
user has access to a phone or computer, they can get
easy access to the services available.
2. Minimize Traffic - Making services easily accessible to the
customers means that fewer will be coming to purchase
from the ticket window. This might also cut costs for the
business because they will not need so many at the ticket
windows. Employees will be able to direct their energies
elsewhere.
3. Constant Service - Online platforms don't need a break or
the night off. They can run constantly, giving every
customer the benefit of accessing information at any time
of the day.
4. Increased Revenue - When a business has an online
service platform, there is no limit to the number of people
it can reach. It is not limited by the time either because it
operates 24/7. This means that promotions and ads can
run throughout and this could potentially boost sales.

 FUTURE SCOPE OF WORK

Today the need of simplicity has driven application software

programming to a new level. This project is a transaction related
information storing project which will be used by the various
multiplexes for online movie ticket booking through internet.
Customers can view all currently running movies and book their
tickets for any specific date and show also customer can pay online
through credit card. This application has a user friendly interface so
that the customer and administrator can easily and efficiently use the
software and its features.

In future our job management system will have extra facilities

and more companies for more employees. It will grant more easy
access. We are going to include recommendation system to this
project so it will be help full for the user to search and apply for jobs
as they wish.
