    Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify past simple tense (Was/were).
    By the end of the lesson, students will be able to talk about the items in 1000 and in 2022
    By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use past simple tense(Was/were).

    Pre activity (5-6 minutes) (Warm-Up)


    1. Greeting students.
    Asking questions to students:
    What do you guys see in the pictures below?
    Do you guys think we had these items in the past like 1000 years ago? Was there cheese?
    Was there knife? Was there fork? Was there cart? Were there swords? Were there cars? Were there sugar?

    While- activities (10-12 minute)

    Instruction:
    Place a T on the line if you think a statement, is TRUE.
    Place an F on the line if you think the statement is FALSE.
    1- There was much meat and there was sugar, tea, coffee or chocolate.
    2- There weren’t many towns and home for 90% of the English people was the country.
    3- There were usually two means a day- with knives and spoons but no forks.
    4- But life in the 11th century was easy.
    5-Most people were poor farmers and work in the fields was hard.
    6- Education was only for the rich.
