Goal attainment progress/overall goal N/A as we are unsure with the test details
attainment
(it would be hard to standardise all answers as
everyone has different goals)

Some feedback regarding the instrument used ie DASS-21:

- Some words may need to be explained as it is not commonly used in Malaysia – cannot be
changed/rephrased as we will change the reliability and validity. Can add in brackets the
alternative explanation as below: [according to macmillan dictionary]
a) Wind down – to end, or to finish something gradually; to gradually reduce work before
stopping completely; to relax after a period of excitement or worry
b) Rather touchy – becoming angry or upset very easily; likely to make people angry or upset
c) Blue – feeling rather sad

Feedback for Different Combinations:

Combinations Comments

DASS-21 + Goal Attainment Participants feel that it is troublesome to type

in sentences compared to just clicking choices,
hard to compile information as everyone has
different goals

DASS-21 + Satisfaction with Life scale Too short, less metrics used

DASS-21 + Satisfaction with Life scale + Brief Appropriate number of metrics, time taken is
Resilience Scale not too long

DASS-21 + Brief Resilience Scale Too short, less metrics used

Final selection: DASS-21 + Satisfaction with Life scale + Brief Resilience Scale

Total time taken for these 3 metrics: 3 minutes 30 seconds

By taking into account of the time for demographic questions:

40 seconds + 3 minutes 30 seconds = 4 minutes 5 seconds **Less than 5 minutes **
