According to Goleman (1995), emotional intelligence involves self-understanding, managing your own emotions, reading
others’ emotions, & handling relationships well.

Scoring & Interpretation


 75-85: Very emotionally intelligent, excellent at handling, reading & managing emotions & relationships.
 65-74: Good emotional intelligence but need to work on some areas.
 55-64: You have to see where you need to improve.
 45-54: Average emotional intelligence. Examine emotional weaknesses & work on improving them.
 44 or below: Lack of emotional intelligence.
