What was the most surprising and significant topic

of learning you took from today’s class?

The first thing that surprised me was the way of educating and training the students
toward their career path not according to their academics.
Back in my country professors and students were used to concentrating more on
academics score and gaining more theoretical. I felt bad about that system because
students were pursuing an MBA degree but had never trained to be business
administrators. But here it’s drastically different because I have come here to
pursue my graduate certificate in project management. And the professors are not
teaching me project management, instead, they are training me to be a manager.
Notably, I learned so many new terms and learning methods such as first learning
clearly in the introduction, conclusion, and titles. Some terms like provocation etc.
I was a person who listens to music frequently. But once you have told us to listen
to the music or song, that should connect to us. At that time, I only realized that I
have a song that connects and boosts my confidence. These kinds of teaching and
training methods surprised me.
The topic I liked was that every culture has its behavioral accent, so as a manager
we should give equal opportunity to each employee. And as a manager, you should
know the result. As managers, we should think like a manager and we should know
the result of the project as I should ahead before the employees and other team
members.
