Two compositions:

1.-

Dear Mr or Mrs,

I am writing this letter because I saw the advertisement of the science museum
exhibition and I am interested in visiting it with the students of my school.

Firstly, I would like you to tell me if groups need to book the visit because I am planning to go
with my school next month but I do not know if I still have time to do so or not.

Secondly, I would be grateful if you could tell me if there is any maximum of people. We are a
group of twenty-nine students and three teachers and I want to be sure that all of us can go.

Thirdly, I would like you to let me know if cell-phones are available in the exhibition. Also, I
would like to know if we can use flash and recording videos during the visit.

Finally, could you please tell me if there is a place to buy food or where the students can eat
during the visit? There are high possibilities that we will arrive by midday and the children may
be hungry by that time.

Hi Sandy!

I´m extremely pleased to visit you for a week. Thank you very much for letting me
stay at your house.

I believe that going to the concert would definitely be the best option because we will have
enough time during that week to do other things like relaxing and watching films so we can´t
lose the opportunity to go to the concert together.

However, I don´t completely agree with climbing mountains. I thought you know I am afraid of
heights! Try to look for another thing that doesn´t involve extreme sports.

I would like you to tell me if I have to take something to your house. Apart from that, I am
thinking of preparing a special cake to have tea the when I arrive, so tell me if you prefer
chocolate cake or vanilla cake.
