is to explore the wonders of the world, acquire knowledge, and understand its roots. Humans
are curious beings who explore even the impossible, but with science, they made it possible.

- We can't just exist in this world without these two applications in our life, which are breathing
and eating.

3. Define technology?

- Technology is the byproduct of scientific knowledge that is acquired through years of research
and experience and is now being used for practical purposes.

4. Give at least two examples of technology?

- Two technologies that are commonly being used by students are a pen and a paper.

5. Define society?

- A society is more than just a collection of people. Individuals' mutual connections and
interactions make up society. It is a place where people share a shared culture.

6. Discuss how science and technology affect society and vice versa?

- In what way do science and technology affect society? Well, actually, technology does affect
society more. If we take a look around, society is more engaged with their mobile phones.
However, when it comes to science, scientists in general are the ones who are more into it. So,
how do science and technology affect each other and vice versa? Let us say that there is a
scientific phenomenon happening, and the usual response to that is that it can lead to a
technological advancement. For example, using the telephone is a hassle for distant
communication, especially when you're on a trip. You can't just simply bring your telephone to
another place; it is really a hassle carrying heavy things on a vacation, and so here comes the
invention of mobile phones, wherein they're easier to use and to carry around.
