RE-7500 Firmware Upgrade Guide

One of the advantage and user friendly features for Jovy’s RE-7550 Station is the possibility of upgrading
the firmware, by using the USB connection and Jovy’s PC Suite. It takes only a few seconds to follow the
simple steps and upgrade the firmware to start using the RE-7550 Station.

This feature is offered to continue developing the operating method according to the customer’s
requirements and needs and also to fulfill the technology standards.

Step by Step Firmware update guide

To install a new firmware version to the Turbo-IR, Please follow the simple steps below:

1) Connect the RE-7550 to a power supply of 220-240 volt AC / 50-60 Hz.

Using the USB cable, connect the Station to the PC.

2) Run the RE-7750 station on Boot load

mode by pushing and holding the
“Menu/OK” button while turning on
the power.

3) When the Station in turned on a

“Beep” sound will be heard and the
LCD Screen will Show two rows of
blocks as shown in the opposite figure.

4) Open Jovy® PC Suite, by running it as

administrator, and click connect.

5) Firmware Window will open, and will

display the Product ID and Device’s
Serial Number.

6) Choose the location of the latest

Firmware Downloaded.

7) Confirm to start installing the new

Firmware to the Turbo-IR station

8) Updating the firmware will start

showing the progress of the process.

9) When the process is successfully

completed the opposite window will
appear. Click “Ok”.

10) Exit the Boot Loader screen. Restart the RE-7550 Station and it will be ready to use with
the latest firmware update.
