0 PROGRAM PROPOSAL
3.1 IMPLEMENTATION COMMITTEE
The Implementation Committee's goal is to assess how well the Parties are adhering to their
obligations under the Convention in order to fully support them in fulfilling their commitments. In
accordance with the state's present constitutions, policies, and laws, the state government is
committed to enforcing obligations and international treaties. creation of a state-level committee
to analyse and assess international agreements linked to forestry and biodiversity. Create and carry
out programmes that support your commitment to an international agreement.
Via their evapotranspiration and shade, trees lower the temperature along paths. Several other
benefits can be obtained through increasing vegetation, including lower energy costs, improved
public spaces, and less pollution. A tree-planting programme can inspire company owners and
owners of private property to grow their tree populations. Governments might use a campaign to
raise money and gather volunteers to plant trees on public property. By offering free trees,
soliciting corporate sponsorship, holding contests, and implementing other programmes, the
Implementation encourages locals to take part in and support tree planting initiatives. On their own
land, participants are allowed to plant trees. With contributions from foundations and partners in
the private sector, governments can raise money for planting trees.
Useful considerations In raising awareness of the need of tree canopies in excessive heat, this
programme provides cooling. A public awareness campaign can help company owners and owners
of private land recognise the value of maintaining and caring for the trees on their site.
Municipalities can also realise the intervention by using the policy levers that make up the
mechanism. These policy levers will probably be combined with one another. Awareness and
Participation Governments may create and implement initiatives with the aim of raising
constituents' and stakeholder groups' understanding of the dangers and benefits of high heat.
Depending on the policy lever, there may be opportunities for municipalities to adopt risk
reduction and preparedness actions. No-regrets activities have a minimal cost or little effort, yet
they have a big payoff. Actions with significant environmental and social benefits but that are
relatively low-cost and low-effort in terms of necessary dependencies.
The Implementation Committee is the heart and soul of the training program and runs the entire
show. The absence of each committee member would not make this training program to be
successful. There is a total of 10 committee members and one advisor, Madam Norazima Md
Malia.
