Statement of the Problem

This study aims to assess the problems encountered by the personnel of BFP in

Isabela during fire suppression.

Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions:

1. What is the socio-demographic profile of the respondents in terms of:

1.1 Age;

1.2 Gender;

1.3 Civil Status;

1.4 Rank; and

1.5 Length of service;

2. What are the problems encountered by the BFP personnel in Santiago City,

Echague and Cordon in suppressing fire in terms of:

2.2 Manpower;

2.3 Firefighting Equipment; and

2.4 Financial Aspect

3. Is there a significant difference on the problems encountered by the BFP

personnel in fire suppression when grouped according to profile?

4. How the personnel of BFP handle the problems they encounter in fire

suppression?
