Heading Select Knob:


PUSH to synchronize HDG Bug with the actual aircraft course.

EHSI Display mode Knob


Use the LEFT and RIGHT mouse buttons to switch between 3 different EHSI display
modes:
- MAP (page 4)
- ARC (page 5)
- HSI (page 6)
Use the LEFT and RIGHT mouse buttons on the inner knob for increasing/decreasing the
MAP range (zoom feature).

Bearing Pointer Selectors
Press the single line arrow button for selecting the source (VOR1, VOR2 or ADF1) as the
number one bearing pointer (1 line cyan pointer).
Press the double line arrow button for selecting the source (VOR1, VOR2 or ADF1) as the
number two bearing pointer (2 lines magenta pointer).

Course Selector
Press this button for selecting between VOR1 and VOR2 as the primary active pointer.
Course Control Symbol will indicate which VOR is showed in the EHSI.

Course Knob:
PUSH to synchronize the EHSI course pointer with the actual aircraft course.
Use the LEFT and RIGHT mouse buttons on the inner knob to move the course arrow of
the EHSI.

Use the Left and Right mouse buttons on the inner knob for selecting which VOR is
engaged with the autopilot. This only will work if you have the NAV option selected in the
autopilot and the CDI of GPS is in VLOC mode (equivalento to NAV mode).

Autopilot
Autopilot mode annunciator display

Heading Knob Vertical Speed Selector

HDG: The autopilot will pursue the heading selected by the heading bug on the EHSI.
NAV: The autopilot will pursue the selected course EHSI. Once the course is caught,
the autopilot will hold it. NAV mode will follow NAV1 or NAV2 depending on the
position of the outer knob of the course knob
APPR: The autopilot will follow the ILS signal of the NAV1. This mode is recommended
for instrument approach.
B/C: The autopilot will pursue the back course of the selected course EHSI.
CLIMB: The autopilot will pursue the altitude set in the altitude preselector with a
predefined climb profile of 1500 feet/min.
ALT: The autopilot will maintain the current altitude.
ALT SEL: The autopilot will pursue the altitude set in the altitude preselector.
VS: Allows to set the Vertical speed
IAS: Allows to set Indicated Airspeed to pursue
DSC: The autopilot will pursue the altitude set in the altitude preselector with a predefined
descend profile of 500 feet/min.
YAW ENG: Activate/Disactivate Yaw Damper function.
AP ENG: Engage/Disengage the Autopilot.

Heading Knob: This knob allows you to control the aircraft heading. You should have the
autopilot engaged and any of these modes no activated: HDG, NAV, APPR or B/C.

Vertical Speed Selector: This selector allows you to modify and select the vertical speed
you want for climbing or descending.

Flight Director (FD)


Pressing the following buttons with the autopilot disengaged will turn on the FD and bring
the magenta Flight Director guide to the EADI: HDG-NAV-APPR-B/C-ALT. Pressing again
the same button will turn of the FD and make the FD guy disappear. You can combine any
flight director mode, for example ALT with HDG.

Altitude Preselector
Select the desired altitude using the MOUSE, then press the ALT SEL button of the
autopilot (with the autopilot engaged) for pursuing a selected altitude.
