SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. General Conduct
Respect for all; oneself, teaching and non-teaching staff, prefects and fellow students.
Punctuality and prompt response to bells to be observed at all the time and all
movement in school is by running.
Duties are compulsory to all students and should be done promptly and satisfactorily.
English is the only mode of communication whenever in school uniform. Kiswahili will
be spoken only on Wednesday. Vulgar languages are not allowed in school – students
who fight in school will be suspended.
3. Academic performance
The school expects all students to take their studies seriously and continuous poor
performance will not be tolerated and will require attention of the parent. The
average pass mark in every subject must be 50% and above. Every student must do all
assignments on time and those persistently fail to do assignments shall be sent home
to call parent. Every student is expected to execute all the weekend duties inclusive of
any other activity that falls on the weekend irrespective of religious inclination.
Students must work SMART in class and students who sleep in class either during
evening preps or morning preps shall be severely punished.
No students will be allowed in the dorm during class and preps time. Staff quarters are
out of bounds, school kitchen is out of bounds to students except dining hall prefects
and duty prefects. School offices and staff room are out of bounds unless officially
required there. Laboratory patron rooms are out of bounds. Power room, school main
gate, workshop, and school fence are all out of bounds. Failure to abide by the above
rules will lead to suspension.

5. Co-curricular activities.
Sunday services are compulsory to all students and must be done in the school
compound.
6. School Uniform
Students should be in school uniform at all times. The school uniform should remain
the way it was designed. Any modification shall result in replacement by the student.
No make ups, long nails and fancy hairstyles are allowed. The school hairstyle is
pushback at all times whenever and wherever in school uniform.
Jumpers must be of one colour (navy blue) and worn only between 6.00p.m. and
7.00a.m.
7. Reporting Time.
Students are expected to report to school by 3.00p.m. any time they are coming from
home. Otherwise they should be accompanied by a parent/guardian or else they will
be sent back home the following day.
Students are expected to respect each other’s property, if found with stolen property
you will compensate double what you stole.

10. Sickness.
The school can only take sick students to a public hospital i.e. District Hospital or in
any hospital provided they have NHIF registration. Students on medication should
keep their medicine with the school nurse.
Sick students are required to report to school with hospital medication documents
where necessary.
Sickness should be reported to M.O.D and school nurse for appropriate action.
No students shall be allowed to possess a mobile phone, radio or any other electronic
gadgets whatsoever.
Calls by students will only be made through a teacher. If found with the gadgets you
will be expelled.
12. Meals
All meals should be taken in the dining hall. Proper behavior of meals serving must be
observed. Greedy will be severely punished. The tables must be cleaned after use.
Proper utensils must be used i.e cup, plate and spoon. No sharing at all. No foodstuffs
should be kept eaten or taken to dormitories. No special diet will be provided by the
school. Punctuality to meal times must be strictly observed and no cooking for any
group of students who came late for meals. Food from outside shall not be allowed.
The school will not allow any student to make her own meals. Any student who
contravenes these meals regulations will be suspended.
13. Visitors
The school has no visiting days but have half terms instead. However genuine
parents/guardians must only meet the student after permission has been sought from
the MOD/D/Principal or principal. No foodstuffs should be allowed into the school.
