Q2. Three focused questions

2. What problems do you face in Virtual classes?
3. Why do you prefer Physical classes?

Q3. Literature Review

Answer :
Virtual and physical classes are two different approaches to education that have gained
popularity in recent years. While physical classes provide face-to-face interaction with
instructors and classmates, virtual classes offer more flexibility and accessibility. Virtual classes
can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection, allowing students to balance their
studies with other commitments. However, they can also feel impersonal and disconnected due to
the reliance on technology-mediated communication. On the other hand, physical classes offer a
structured routine that some students may prefer, and the opportunity for personalized attention
from instructors. Overall, the choice between virtual and physical classes depends on individual
student preferences and circumstances.

Q4. Methodologies

Answer :

1. Online Research
2. Survey Forms
Q5. Result & Discussion

a. Result of Online research : Online research on virtual vs physical classes among students
has produced mixed findings. Some studies have shown that virtual classes can lead to
higher academic performance due to increased flexibility and access to resources, while
others suggest that physical classes offer better opportunities for interaction and
personalized attention from instructors. Furthermore, students generally report high levels
of satisfaction with both virtual and physical classes, although virtual classes are
sometimes perceived as less enjoyable due to the lack of face-to-face interaction.
b. Result of Survey :
According to the survey done with the aid of google forms, a transparent answer is found
that is discussed in details below.
Q6. Focus Questions :
a. Do you prefer Virtual or Physical Class?
Research methods : Online Research
Survey forms

14 out of 20 people prefer to do physical classes instead of virtual classes because of many
reasons, especially because almost 75% of them face problems in virtual classes. They want to
attend physical classes even if they face some problems which are easily fixed or are avoidable
unlike virtual classes.
b. What type of problems do you face in Virtual Classes?

According to the students, they face various types of problems during virtual classes, for
instance, 35% of the students think that there is laziness involved while doing virtual classes
which causes students to be distracted and they cannot attend the classes properly, 30% of the
students think that there is no or low interaction with the instructor creating a barrier between the
student and the faculty and creating a miscommunication as well. 10% of the people are unable
to understand the instructor as there is a lack of communication as well as network and technical
issues. Moreover, 10% of students are discouraged due to not being able to do group works with
friends and peers as it is very difficult to communicate and work as a team online then it is
physically. Lastly, 15 % of the students gave other reasons which could be problems at home,
technological necessities, mental health, etc.
c. Why do you prefer physical classes?

Based on the survey results presented, it appears that those who participated in the survey
preferred physical classes for several reasons. The most common reasons were the
opportunities for social interaction with peers and friends (30%) and the high level of
interactivity with the instructor (35%). Additionally, physical classes were perceived to have
easier-to-understand lectures (25%) and eliminate the possibility of technical difficulties that
can sometimes arise in virtual classes (10%). These findings suggest that students value the
social and interactive aspects of physical classes, as well as the potential for fewer technical
issues.
Q7. Limitations

Answer :

While surveys conducted through Google Forms or other online platforms can provide
valuable insights into various research topics, they may also have several limitations. Some
of the limitations include:

Limited Sample Representativeness: The sample of respondents for online surveys may not
be representative of the population being studied. This can result in biased results and limit
the generalizability of the findings.

Self-selection bias: Respondents who choose to participate in online surveys may have
different characteristics or motivations compared to those who do not participate, leading to
self-selection bias.

Limited Question Types: Online surveys may be limited to a certain type of question format
such as multiple-choice or open-ended questions. This may not capture the full complexity of
the issue being studied.

Limited Data Validity: Online surveys rely on self-reported data, which may not always be
accurate. Respondents may provide socially desirable answers or may not remember details
accurately.

Q8. Conclusion

Answer :

In conclusion, the debate between virtual and physical classes among students has no easy
answer. Both approaches have their advantages and disadvantages, and the choice between
the two depends on individual student preferences and circumstances. Virtual classes offer
flexibility and accessibility but can sometimes lack the social interaction and personalized
attention that physical classes offer. On the other hand, physical classes offer structure and
the opportunity for face-to-face interaction but can be more difficult to attend for students
with busy schedules or who live far from campus. Ultimately, the decision between virtual
and physical classes should be based on a student's personal needs and goals and should be
evaluated in the context of their individual circumstances.
