How to become more environmentally conscious as a young Bangladeshi

Everyone can make a difference, especially when environmentally conscious decisions become
second nature and even influence others to follow suit. Doing the right thing for the planet's
future might even provide immediate personal rewards. It's not only about plastic bags when it
comes to being environmentally friendly; it's about making everyday decisions that will decide
our species' success or failure. Bangladesh achieved lower middle-income status while
drastically lowering its poverty rate thanks to a decade of robust economic development.
However, like in many other nations, such growth has come at a significant environmental cost.
One of our key obligations is environmental protection, which is a natural means of caring for
ourselves and future generations. Several variables can assist in decreasing the negative
influence of our consuming patterns. In order to become more environmentally conscious, we
should care about reducing pollution, protecting wildlife and conserving more natural resources.

The first thing young Bangladeshis can focus on is how to reduce pollution from the
environment on a daily basis. Instead of driving a car for a short-distance trip, we may ride a
bicycle, which will be helpful to our health as well as to the decrease in air pollution. Also,
taking environmental conservation measures may go a long way, whether it's something small
like forming a community clean-up club or developing a major social organization with
tremendous reach and influence. Many effective youth-led environmental groups and non-
governmental organizations (NGOs) are leading by example today. They have the ability to alter
their lifestyle and its impact on the environment. They may make their homes, schools, and
youth groups more environmentally friendly by implementing green practices, recycling various
products, and conserving resources like water and energy.

Secondly, protecting wildlife is also the most important factor in terms of maintaining the
balance in our ecosystem. Nowadays, humans are the biggest threat to wildlife, and it is creating
an imbalance in our ecosystem. Youth society can take the necessary steps to prevent these
problems. They may create an event about wildlife awareness and how people should take care
of wildlife. All species have everything they need to survive and thrive in a healthy ecosystem.
We, as young people, must do more to contribute to wildlife conservation so that our
communities and countries may continue to benefit from the many benefits that wild animals
provide. We can join non-profit organizations dedicated to this cause, get involved in wildlife
conservation campaigns, help raise money for endangered species protection, and even organize
local talks and rallies among our peers and community members to raise awareness about the
value of wildlife to society.

Finally, to combat climate change, we must reduce humanity's collective carbon footprint and
conserve our natural resources. This will ensure that our world is habitable for future
generations. Natural resources are resources that arise naturally rather than as a result of human
intervention. A natural resource is any naturally occurring substance, such as soil, oil, plants,
animals, water, coal, energy, wood, land, light, and minerals. Natural resources provide us with
the food and water we eat, the air we breathe, and the shelter we build. Therefore, we must
conserve what we have to ensure the planet's and humanity's health and longevity. The
tremendous increase in climate change is due to human activities, particularly the usage of
nonrenewable resources such as fossil fuels. By conserving our natural resources, we can lower
greenhouse gas emissions and have a more beneficial influence on our natural environment.

Therefore, we may state that if we want to be more environmentally conscious, we must pay
greater attention to decreasing pollution, protecting wildlife, and conserving natural resources.
By reducing or taking necessary steps against pollution, we can make a difference in terms of
keeping this environment safe. Also, we need to care about other species that are responsible for
keeping a balance in our ecosystem and playing a vital role. We have to play the role as we are
not a threat to them, but we are here for them. Finally, we need to give more attention to our
natural resources and accept that there are several ways to conserve natural resources smartly.
We have to use fewer nonrenewable resources and make the best use of renewable resources.
