2. Filipino Philosophy of Time

When were having a Face To Face I have a dance practice in front of the
school and then my classmates are just waiting me to come to be able to
start the dance practice and they called me and messaged me because
I’m not there yet and their asking “Where are you? ”Are you near?” then
I sent a message in our group chat that “I’m ready to leave the house”
even I still need have to take a bath and arrange things to take then so I
do my morning rituals after that I check my phone and gosh.. they’re
mad at me na HAHA ..Then when I arrive there I’m half an hour late and
they scolded me because it should be started at 8 but i arrived at 8:30.
This is how WE Filipino value our time being minutes to hours late
compared to the standard time.
3. “Bahala Na” Mentality

This word ‘Bahala na’ pretend that were having a long quiz later then
you forgot to review the notes you wrote in the past lesson and you’ll
just hit your head for forgetting to review you’ll just said to yourself
‘Bahala na si Lord sakin sana makapasa’. We say “Bahala na!” in order to
encourage and tell ourselves that we are ready to deal with every tough
situations or life-changing moments that may come into our lives.

4. Filipino Resiliency (during the time of Pandemic)

The resilience of our Filipinos is important because if we do not

strengthen ourselves in this pandemic we will be defeated especially if
we become discouraged so we need the strength to fight because it is
not just for ourselves but also for Filipinos who continue to fight the
spread of infectious diseases such as frontliners who tirelessly treat
those who develop covid so we will soon be able to overcome this
pandemic so we can learn to follow protocols when we end the difficult
situation in our country.
