I have known Giorgi for three years

2. Please discuss what makes the applicant a strong candidate to participate in 2023
Benjamin Franklin Summer Institute.

Giorgi is a perceptive, sharp, quick individual with a high aptitude for math and science and
languages as well . He's been a strong leader in the English Club, eager to share his
knowledge with others and learn new skills. Giorgi's personal strengths are as impressive as
his intellectual accomplishments. He's an active, outgoing presence in class with a great
sense of humor.

3. Please give an example from the classroom experience where the candidate demonstrated
strong leadership potential and/or significant academic achievement.

Giorgi has been at the top of his class in his final years of high school and was always
amongst the top 5 in previous years. His ability to understand complex concepts and solve
problems quicker than most people is the main reason why he qualified for the different
programs. This accomplishment was earned by giving him undivided attention in class and
doing extra work outside of the classroom. He’s always able to manage his time superbly and
willing to lend a hand to other students struggling with their work. While some are destined
to develop leadership skills, Giorgi seems to possess the intrinsic qualities of a born
leader and he’s able to accomplish this without an air of arrogance or superiority towards his
peers.
