Over the last century, humankind has greatly benefited from advances in applied science. Social media use is now a routine part of lives and replaces some physical contact, though it has both benefits and drawbacks. While social media allows for easy, worldwide communication through platforms like Facebook and Tiktok, making some users famous, it can also isolate people and be an incomplete replacement for in-person interactions and experiences with friends and family. Therefore, social media is best used to supplement communication for those separated, not replace real-world relationships.

Over the last century, humankind got huge thrives in applied
science. These days, usage of social media has become part of
our routine lives, which is replacing physical contact with others in the community. In particular, this had both benefits and drawbacks. One the one hand, social media is an extremely convenient and efficent way for people keep in touch without geographical boundaries. Platforms such as Facebook, Twitter or Tiktok allow people to share a variety of information quickly and easily. By using social sites, more and more people becoming a famous person by making unique content or post. In Vietnam, for instance, a number of content creators became famous on Facebook or Tiktok. Finally, social media is a good way for receiving information and new, while it is a free of cost. On the other hand, there are certain disadvantages to relying too heavily on social media as a means of communication. For instance, it can be difficult to really understand a person’s true feelings or intentions when they are communicating by text or online. Additionally, too much time spent on social media can lead to a feeling of isolation, as people may feel like they are missing out on real-life experiences with their friends and family. For example, we might constantly check our messages to see if anyone had invited we out, or focus on our Instagram feed all day to make sure that nobody is doing something cool without you. In conclusion, since the usage of social media is rising day by day, it is observed that it was reducing face to face conversation. I believe that the disadvantages of using social media outweigh the advantages. However, it should be used as a supplement to enhance communication between people who are physically separated. This way, people can reap the benefits of social media without sacrificing their physical relationships with others.
