A. In Lesson 6: Women in the Philippines, summarize the content in 5 sentences.

1-5.) In the Philippines' pre-colonial era, a large number of women ruled the home and were
equally, if not primarily, in charge of all significant decisions. Even the billings, contracts, and
correspondences became under their purview. Currently, women's organizations lead and carry
out social reforms within institutions that were first founded by men. Men have traditionally
made the majority of decisions.

B. In Lesson 7: Gender and Violence, summarize the content in 5 sentences.

1-5.) One of the most significant abuses of human rights that exists in all countries is gender
inequality. Violence committed against a person because of their gender is referred to as
gender-based violence. Gender-based violence affects both men and women, however the
majority of victims are women and girls. When a youngster experiences or witnesses' violence,
the cycle of violence may begin, and it may continue when the child grows up.

C. In Lesson 8: Masculinity, summarize the content in 5 sentences.

1-5.) The term "masculinity" can be used to refer to the social norms and behaviors associated
with being a man. These norms and behaviors are constantly reinforced by both individuals and
institutions, including the media, the economics, the law, and religion. Men's capacity to ask for
assistance is significantly influenced by social notions of masculinity and socialization. Due to
the conceptions of masculinity, men have trouble identifying their coping techniques and
expressing their emotions.
D. In Lesson 9: Women in Advertising, summarize the content in 5 sentences.

1-5.) Over the years, there have been changes in how women are shown in advertising, with the
1950s and 1960s featuring women in the kitchen or taking care of a family and the 1970s and
1980s featuring women as sex symbols or unreachable ideals of perfection. And now the
present time have different role of advertising, Women are still portrayed primarily as sexual
beings who are also thoughtless, reliant, take care of others, and are preoccupied with their
appearance.
