unny how God has a way of taking an ordinary, busy work day, and using it to get my attention. A few weeks ago I called a constituent of FamilyLife with the intent of leaving a message to provide information about the ministry. I picked up the phone and dialed;Tom answered. Usually when I call during the day his voicemail kicks in, so I was a bit surprised when he answered. It quickly became clear that this was a God ordained call. He quickly filled me in that he and his wife were at the hospital. His wife had miscarried, and she had just been rolled into a recovery room after the medical procedure, literally seconds before I called. We talked for a little while, but he repeatedly thanked me for calling because I was the first person he had a chance to talk with since their lives were turned upside down that day. We prayed together and then said our goodbyes. After hanging up, I was stunned. Not only had God invited me into this familys valley, moreover I became broken that day for Him. Only our great God could orchestrate a phone call that could simultaneously minister to two men thousands of miles apart. Since that time I have thought of them often and am reminded of what is really important to Christ. To God be the Glory!

Absolute, complete turnaround! We were at a crossroads as to which way our marriage going to go, continue or split. At the end of the weekend we had a completely new perspective on our marriage and even reaffirmed our vows at the end of the weekend. Tucson, AZ
