Karen’s first day of school didn’t go as well as she planned. First of all she woke up late, the
alarm clock was not working properly. Moreover when her mom was driving her to school,
they got a flat tire. When they finally arrived, she realized she had forgotten her lunch on the
table. Fortunately, her dad was on his way to work and was able to leave the homework at her
school. On the other hand, the weather was hot and she was sweating, so she arrived
immediately to the bathroom for a fresh up. She was really annoyed. However, as she entered
to the classroom, she was happy to see her friends again.

Why I want to learn French.

There are three reasons why I want to learn French. One reason is that French has become an
international language. It is now used by a lot of international companied, including the company
where I work. Another reason is that I can travel to French – speaking countries like France and
others in Africa. Finally I want to learn French because I want to move to a French island in the
future. For all these reasons I’m very excited about learning French
Now it’s your time to write your own paragraph. Make sure the use of connectors is
evident and accurate. You can use the connectors of your chart or any other that
work for what you want to say.

Also, don’t forget the TOPIC SENTENCE, the SUPPORTING SENTENCES and
