Maaxi is a 17 year old and a son for two parents of the lower class family he is the elder son who starts
nearly the secondary education in school, during his first weeks maxii get new friendships jamaac and
farax the two boys who meets him at the school, and in his first days he seems to be intelligent and
easy to understood the lessons, yet farax who is maxii’s friend have some pride in telling him to get of
the study as already some of the same skin people like him did get a job he told him and stop wasting
your time in an unimportant education but did influenced in his friends cruel words and complete his
study,

years later the standardization exam is close and everyone is preparing for it, maxii go to home to ask
the payment cash of the exam card so he goes to ask his mom, however she tell him that when his
father comes she will tell him about it, maxii feels it is difficult at his family all that money to deal with
and become sad yet don’t know what to do

back home, maxii’s father returns home to listen what happens and realize that his son is near to get the
standard exam and need a lot of money but he says that he couldn’t pay it for now but he will work day
n night to find it, maxii sees his father hands skin been broken and so old asking him what happens
🥲🥲😭😭 to your hands his father smile and give him the money to take his cards for the final exam.

Outside the school garden farax still telling him to take the money to buy a tools and its his chances to
starts his work, as he looking to jaamac to support his idea yet he rise his eyes browse as being he is non
of the ideas but recommends maxii to think a lot before getting decision in addition he reminds him to
come with great mentality and that how matter the County situation is bad but still there is hope for
being educated and don’t forget the to pray Allah after every prayer and everything is well done in the
future.

final exam starts and maxii study hard to find scholarship to complete his study, and months later the
results are out and maxii is so happy for the result as he got 82% percent but did becomein the top
100 , he is now going to his friends to show his results, jamaac and farax are together and talking about
the result and farax says I get 69 and jamaac replies I have 72% and the both of them are proud about it,
maxii is coming but hear farax says where that silly guy and ask Jamaac if he think that he made it or not,
buy jamaac replies stop being cruel alike , Maxii feels hurtful and think to go but he catch himself and hi
them, he tells him his results and as he thought farax don’t believe his words and say he is lying although
Jama try to change the subject and asks everyone what are they going to do after secondary in fast farax
says that his father already prepared him a company to deal in it as he want to be in highest universities
ato study public administration on it also ran the company, but before maxii’s reply farax says do you
heard what is the situation of the city these days as there is a lot of terrorist attacks in the city hotels
and turn to maxii side and say silly hey I heard that your siblings are after attacks on the city and they
are the responsible about it, why you just don’t go out your regions or the Africans countries where is
your organs these people come from there and you help them to enter these staffs to them inside, maxii
feel insulted and look at jamaac as a hopeless person who don’t say anything about their friends words,
and just go away without saying anything, after he left jaamac talk and ask farax about his actions but
farax reply he was joking,
Maxii sit alone In a place and and starts crying about how cruel is his country people on his rase as he
was receiving different kind of discrimination along his life starting from his parents jobs to his education
level, abdulahi who is one of maxii’s teacher in secondary education see him along side the way and ask
him what happens but he refuses to tell the reality, he understood what’s happening and told him to be
strong and gives him advises to complete his study while recommending him to go to Somali national
university where is no any discrimination and he could have Supporting friends to change situations in
the country in the coming years and never ever quit or think to be useless for the country.
