M1 - Check-In Activity: Reflection

Question:
What is your image of a perfect society? Explain the details in terms of the environment,
interpersonal relations, and cultural norms / laws.

A society where everyone got exactly what they wanted would be ideal. It should be clear
that this is impossible. We can only aim for the best possible society as a result. In terms
of the environment, the ideal community is one in which a common concern for the welfare
of everyone drives each person's aims and decisions. Freedom from greed, rage, deceit,
and other crimes is also possible, as is freedom from poverty, illness, conflict, and
bloodshed—a situation when nobody else needs to be afraid of whatever or anyone.
My ideal society, in terms of interpersonal ties, is one where people
live in a peaceful environment where laughter may be heard from every street. The perfect
society teaches us the path and enables us to learn about humanity. A culture where
everyone is treated with respect and is treated like family. There are no differences of
opinion, arguments, or miscommunications. In my ideal world, kids could play in the
streets at any time of day or night without worrying about getting hurt. A society where
everyone aspires to fortune and success for all. Most significantly, people believe in God
as the source of their connections and the center of their lives. They worship him together
as a family.
The society aims to have a just and equitable implementation of cultural norms and laws
that are fairly distributed so that everyone will profit from their application. A perfect
society that promotes virtue in all people and plays a significant role in developing and
educating both current and future generations
