M1 - Check-In Activity: Reflection

Question:
What is your image of a perfect society?” Explain the details in terms of the
environment, interpersonal relations, and cultural norms / laws.

The perfect society would be one in which everyone received exactly what they
desired. This is obviously impossible to do. As a result, we can only strive for the finest
society achievable. In terms of the environment, a perfect society is one in which a shared
concern for the common good has become essential to individual goals and choices.
Poverty, sickness, conflict, and violence would be a thing of the past, as would freedom
from greed, anger, deception, and other crimes. A setting in which no one else has to fear
anything or anybody.

In terms of interpersonal relationships, my ideal society is one in which people

live in peace, and where all you can hear from every street is laughter. The ideal society
that guides us in the right way and allows us to discover humanity. A society that respects
everyone as if they are members of the same family. There are no disagreements,
disputes, or misunderstandings. I imagine a world in which children may freely explore
the streets, even at night, without fear of harm. A setting in which everyone strives for
everyone's wealth and success. They care for one another, and most importantly, people
believe in God as the foundation of their lives and the heart of their relationships, and
they worship him as a family.

In terms of cultural norms / laws, the purpose of society is to have a fair and
reasonable distribution of laws for the sake of all people and to benefit everyone from its
execution. A flawless society that plays an important role in growing and teaching both
present and future generations, and that encourages goodness to all individuals.
