AN ACT OF SERVICE TO MY COMMUNITY

If I am chosen to receive a computer, the act of service I will do in my community over the next six
months will be to volunteer as a teacher of both English and computer science at the NGO
SOLIDARITE which takes care of orphans.
Orphans are neglected, they don’t have the same chance that normal children have. I deal with English
at University and deal with computer science courses at PROGRAMME QUI VEUT ETRE RICHE. I
will be devoted myself to teaching them English so that they may have taken profit of that in their
future life. Knowing about computer science is a must if they want to succeed in that world.
Technology is everywhere, and tools which are used are computers and smart phones. If they combine
both I do believe it will change their lives as they have changed mine.
