4) This assessment task will be graded using the rubric for reflection paper.

Assessment Task: Your reflection paper should contain the following answer per paragraph:
• What are your new learnings in modules 1 and 2?
• What are the things you have learned in modules 1 and 2?
• How does your new learning contribute to achieving your goal; how does it helped you
improve yourself; what you have improved;
• What are your realizations about the course?

Reflection
The excitement when this course was about to begin last week and it offers such new learnings from
module 1 until module 2 which is all about computer codes and then their function, knowing their purpose
and having the main idea of how complex computer programming is. It can be compared to learning how to
drive a manual car since you have to know the details one by one or its purpose and you have to be accurate
as the major criteria of having successfully programmed codes, especially when encoding bool codes that
state if-conditional statements. The things that I have learned in Module 1 are most likely the basics of
computer programming, knowing the concept and the developers behind the software for many people to be
inspired to be like them in the future. Module 1 might be a basic lesson but it is one of the most essential
things every IT student needed to learn to process into more complex coding, it matters of going back to
basics for accuracy purposes. For module 2 it was fun doing conditional statements in programming wherein
it is satisfying to see how the program works when it is done and gave me such an idea of where an online
quiz was created probably. Module 2 molds me as a better IT student in that patience can be towards also
accuracy. The new learnings from the preliminary course have a significant contribution to achieving my goal
of now to learn the basics of programming, it really improved me to have better accuracy and patience in
writing programs, and I have improved or discovered the purposes of each data type, operator, and the
software itself, and also some glimpse of seeing myself work as an IT that needs to work more efficiently and
professionally. The course gave me a realization that computer programming course is better to work with a
companion who is also passionate about what they are doing and has some positive traits that I don’t have
that need to be learned and adapted and some negative traits that need to be corrected for having the team
for the better working environment in this kind of industry. Everything that is learned needs to be shared with
the colleague, and if practiced right, the future programs will be better, faster, and might be complex as well.
