Huyen: Hello Huong.

Huong: Hi. How are you?
Huyen: Ya. I’m good. Are you free now? I want to talk to you.
Huong: Yes. What’s up?
Huyen: As we all know, tourism has become an important role in today's economic
development. These days, there are so many companies catering for group travel.
Traveling in groups, members can support each other and share joys and sorrows
throughout the journey. However, nothing in life is perfect, and group travel comes
with its benefits and drawbacks.
Huong: Sure. In my opinion, traveling in a group is very supportive because it's no
planning, just enjoying.
Huyen: Can you give me an example?
Huong: With group travel, you can just lay back and go with the flow. Touring
with like-minded people is a great way to live in the moment, as you won’t have to
worry about the nitty-gritty, everything is plotted out, you just hop aboard to enjoy
the ride.
Huyen: I agree with you. Besides, group travel also gives you experiences that you
might not be able to have alone. For example, with group travel, you’ll be able to
share a meal, ask a groupmate for taking a photo of a scenic landscape, and more.
Huong: That sounds good. Travel in a group is safe in numbers. If you are anxious
about your safety when traveling alone, the security of a group tour may be the
answer for you. In addition to the support of the tour leader, the group members do
tend to look out for each other.
Huyen: While group travel has significant positive points, it also has some negative
things. Possibly the biggest disadvantage of group travel is that you are restricted
by a schedule and can’t choose to stay somewhere longer to explore more so many
regular tours don’t allow free time.
Huong: As I see, traveling in a group leads to a lack of coordination because
people have different viewpoints on various activities and preferences. This can be
conflicted with others. Moreover, these indifferences may spoil the fun of the
entire pre-planned program.
Huyen: Besides, It's also an obstacle because group travel makes you cannot
choose your accommodation.
Huong: That's right. With most tour groups you have no control over the choice of
hotel, many people don’t reveal where you will be staying until just before
departure. Although group travel offers some disadvantages, it is still worth
experiencing.
Huyen: Thank you for sharing with me your ideas. We’ve had such an interesting
discussion on group travel.
Huong: Ok. I’m busy now. See you later.
Huyen: Bye.
Huong: Ok bye.
