Familiarize yourself with ICT facilities and tools for teaching and learning. Check if the following

No, because the school does have not have their own computer lab/computer room.
2.Are the teachers aware of the school’s ICT policies and standards?

Answer:

Yes, as I observe in this video teacher are all aware in the school ICT programs.

3. Does the school provide the necessary ICT tools and digital technologies to aid
teaching and learning activities?

Answer:

Yes, because ICT tools and digital technologies in this new generation is really helpful to both
learners and teachers.

4. Are the students provided with equal opportunity to use the computers and other
digital technologies?

Answer:

Yes, I what I observe in this video students has its own laptop computers to do their activities.

5. Are the teachers knowledgeable on how to operate a laptop/computer and other


digital technologies for teaching and learning?

Answer:

Yes, all teachers in this video are all knowledgeable on how to operate all digital facilities
provided by the school program.

Processing:

1. What are the problems or challenges in integrating ICT in teaching and learning.
Answer:
The problems and challenges in integrating ICT is all about in our unstable internet
connection and lack of support from the school.
2. How will you promote the positive use of ICT to your students?
Answer:
To encourage and practice collaboration by simply getting involved different online
activities such as working on projects or by collaborating others by sharing documents
on their virtual learning activities.
Lesson 4: Strategies for promoting Literacy and Numeracy

1. What is numeracy?
Answer:
Numeracy is the ability of the learners to apply math concepts in all areas, meaning
it is the skills of the learners to understand by involving numbers, counting, solving
problems, how to measure, sorting and noticing patterns.
2. What is literacy?
Answer:
Literacy is the ability to read, write, speak and listen, meaning it is the ability to
interact on how to engage and to communicate with others.

1. How can literacy affect one’s life?


Answer:
Literacy improves lives because literacy plays a vital role in transforming into socially
engaged citizens for being able to read and write to keep up, communicate and
understand any issues that are shaping our world.
2. How important is numeracy in our daily life?
Answer:
Numeracy can make our life so easier, because mathematics is very important part
of our daily lives to prevent chaos, we do not even realize it because of the numbers
people can read clocks, measure anything, call anybody and many more.
3. How can literacy and numeracy improve the learner’s academic performance?
Answer:
The improvement of the learners performance is to develop their own ideas and
knowledge on how they can communicate others and to make sense to the world,
because literacy and numeracy can help the learners to gain the fundamental skills
necessary to achieve success in life.
