The teacher has an overview about the lesson to teach she gives some sights to the topic. She
enhance the teachers planning, teaching and assessment knowledge and practices, as were
developing teachers' understandings of subject ideas and how these might be translated to
best fit their students. In the formative interactions and summative assessment practices she
focused on encouraging and supporting student engagement with key subject ideas in order to
move student learning forward.

The teacher used to enrich the subject matter is to plan the content delivery and giving the
learners a clear strategy, clear topic and highlighting the main points of the lessons.

1. How do research – based instructional strategies enrich the pedagogical content knowledge of
teachers?

Teachers can try new ways of exploring how the students are thinking about the concepts
being taught. Ask students about how and what they understand not in the sense of a test, but
in the sense of an interview. Ask students what “real life” personal situations they think that
the topic relates.

2. How do research – based instructional strategies affect the students’ learning?

It affects the mental development of the learner on how they understand what the teacher ask
and focusing on what is important and prepare what is needed for learning.
3. What do teachers need to do to improve their research skills?

The teacher must learn how to recognize a quality source or determine a reliable source that
makes a research well define and recognize.

training, and lack of teachers’ competency.

The challenges encountered by students in using ICT tools and other forms for digital
technologies are when a learner has a slow speed computer, signal problem in internet, poor
working condition of computers, load shedding and lack of access of internet.

The teacher needs to know more about ICT like demonstrating the awareness in policies
affecting ICT in education and use ICT as tool to develop 21 st century skill.

4. How will you promote the positive use of ICT to your students?
I will promote the positive use of ICT to my students by enhancing the quality of education in
several ways by increasing learner motivation and engagement, by facilitating the acquisition
of basic skills, and by enhancing teacher training. ICTs are also transformational tools which,
when used appropriately, can promote the shift to a learner-centered environment.
