1. Based on the five purposes of assessing students is “Can determine their level of
achievement and provide them with feedback on their strengths and weaknesses. For
students who didn’t master the topic or skill, teachers can use data from the assessment
to create a plan for remediation.”
2. For me, the most important among the six assessment principles is “Address
learning targets or curriculum goals” addressing learning targets or curriculum
goals are important to know on what teacher should to teach and also on what
students should learn. Hence, the most important is to determine and
demonstrate their level of knowledge and skill.
3. So far more applicable in the 21st century it is the criterion-referenced
assessment that most teachers use as criteria to measure student performance.
I REALIZED THAT
When students see how they are doing in a class, they can determine whether or not
they understand the course material. Motivation assessment can also help students. ...
Just as assessment helps students, assessment helps teachers.
I believed it is essential to:
Use the assessment to measure their performance and also it focuses on the
opportunities to develop students' ability to evaluate themselves, to make judgements
about their own performance and improve upon it.
From now on, I am determined to:
To use the principles of Address learning targets or curriculum goals, because for me it is
important to determine the behavior of your students and to see if your students are
capable to you learning targets.
Lesson 2
Processing:
1. An assessment plan ensures that a project remains focused on the learning objectives
and must be developed prior to project activities and activities. Because project
activities allow for greater expression of individual learning, assessment techniques
need to be open enough to accommodate a range of student activities, but focused on
expected results.
2. Based on the table of specification of my cooperating teacher are have Content
standard, Objective, No. of hours, No. of items, Percent, Remember, Understand,
Analyze, Apply, Evaluate, Create, and the total.
3. For me the most difficult part in creating a table of specification is determine the
testing objectives for each topic area because you need to be familiar in the
bloom taxonomy of thinking skills.
4. The possible happen if the teacher are don’t have preparation in the table of
specification is you don’t have guide or objectives that students and teacher must
be followed to achieved.
I realized that
If you will create your table of details for your test by aligning your goals with the bloom
taxonomy, it’s time to determine the test types that will achieve your test goals. For
example, knowledge questions can be easily created through multiple choice questions
or quiz type matching.
I believed it is essential to:
It is essential to the students because it can help ensure you're assessing the skills and
knowledge that you intended and it could open up new possibilities for different ways to
assess your students, some of which may be more efficient and effective than the
current methods you're using.
From now on, I am determined to:
To be productive as a teacher that should be always have preparation to do assessment
and also by creating the table of specification.
Lesson 3
1. For me the easier to construct the type of items is supply items because it is all
about by answering the essay which is the teacher are create a few questions
regarding to their lesson.
2. To check the test, I chose select items because all you need to do is to see which
is the correct answers provided unlike to the supply items that you need to read
before deciding the score.
3. For me, the more objective of the two types of items is supply items because the
students are free to express their thoughts regarding to the topic in their own
ideas.
4. To ensure the fairness and objectivity in checking essay types items is you should
be based on the content of the essay of your students and also on how they
expand their thoughts.
I realized that
In order to do good test items, they need to be effective for students, they also need to
use grammar correctly and also avoid deep words in the instruction. And also maintain
consistency between goals for the course, methods of teaching, and the tests used to
measure achievement of goals.
I believed it is essential to
Use the 10 general rules that teacher should consider in writing any type of test items.
Therefore, the teacher is can use the appropriate types of items.
From now on, I am determined to
Before considering content and procedure, I must first determine who is taking the test,
why the test is being taken, and how the scores will be used.
Lesson 4
Processing:
1. The main purpose of having a rubric is to assess the students’ performance and
also to have a guide by doing the task that you have given to the students.
2. Possible happen if the teacher will not use a rubric Reliability may be a factor as
more individuals use the rubric. Especially when used for peer assessment in
unskilled users, reproducibility and reliability will be reduced.
3. If I have an opportunity to give advice to the teachers, should I tell them that
Rubrics is an essential to assessing students’ product and performance because
first, they focus instructors on what they intend to assess. Second, they allow
educators to organize their thoughts. Lastly, they can provide a scaffold with
which the students can learn.
I realized that
Rubrics emphasize explicit descriptions of what a student will do, know, and at what
level.
I believed it is essential to:
Use the rubrics because it can be used to provide feedback on various assignments such
as case studies, group projects, papers, reflections, participation expectations,
presentations, and performances.
From now on, I am determined to:
From now on as a teacher I will be productive especially in making rubrics and I will
make sure that my student’s grading will be consistent.
Lesson 5
Processing:
1. Ask students to select the evidence. Instruct students to label each piece of
evidence according to the learning outcome being demonstrated.
2. Portfolios can contain a range of items-plans, reports, essays, resumes, checklists,
self-assessments, references from employers or supervisors, audio and video
clips. In a portfolio showcase, students will include work completed shortly after
their program.
3. Effective when they are used to evaluate students’ learning progress and
achievement is the best because when students see their improvements, they
will encourage to do the assessment.
I realized that
Portfolios need to describe growth in all areas of development, so you will need
examples other than concrete products. In addition, young children engage in many
activities that do not result in a product that you can hold in your hand.
I believed it is essential to
Portfolios help you begin to build a well -rounded and authentic picture of each child so
you can better plan your program to build on individual strengths and support each
child’s growth.
From now on, I determined to
Talk to your students about portfolios. They need the same kind of explanation they
want about any new material or technique in your setting. Explain what a portfolio is,
why everyone will keep one, and how much fun it is to put one together. Give the
children time to ask questions. Then, ask the children their ideas about making
important personal "files."
CHAPTER VII
Lesson 1
1. For me, is Physical Facilities because of those facilities it can affect the students
‘learning and also it can be weaknesses because without those facilities it is hard for the
teachers and students.
2. Keeping students engage with teachers and with their learning is an important part of
school safety. All students are attentive when it comes to school safety.
3. A good learning environment offers a safe platform for students. Before you can
expect students to succeed academically, they must also be mentally and physically
safe.
4. When you promote diversity in the classroom, you can use a variety of activities and
principles to help students recognize and respect people’s diversity, creating a holistic
atmosphere. Promoting diversity and equality in education is paramount for both
students and teachers.
5. Ask people in the community who want to participate in school, but have no children
in school, to volunteer as part of the reading program for students with low reading
levels. Volunteers can come in as often as they like and read books one-on-one with
students.
Processing:
1. Students have ownership and input related to class structure and expectations.
This can range from creating spaces specifically for student use to having a class
discussion to establish standards and expectations.
2. All students are challenged to achieve high expectations, and all students receive
the support necessary to meet those expectations.
3. When class structure provides multiple and varied opportunities for students to
experience success.

I realized that
Maintaining a positive learning environment is a work in progress - you must always
consider how to maintain a positive learning environment and must be thoughtful about
how the learning environment is perceived by students.
I believed it is essential to
It is essential to continually monitor and adapt your strategies to meet the changing
needs of your students.
When I become a teacher, I will
To establish trust that leads to true participation and engagement in learning, first need
to set the stage by establishing a learning environment in which all students feel valued,
safe, and supported.
Lesson 2
I realized that
It just not only affects the children, but it has an equal effect on the teachers, parents,
and the administrations in various ways. While it is everyone’s responsibility, schools
too should remind respective stakeholders from time to time to ensure safety in
schools.
I believed it is essential to
Students spend a large amount of their time in school, most of this time being in the
classroom. Therefore, the layout and arrangement of the classroom should be one that
encourages students to be productive. Instead of sticking to the standard classroom
arrangement we are used to, choose to have different sections of the room that each
have a specific purpose.
When I become a teacher, I will
Keeping all appropriate materials in the environment accessible to infants and toddlers
so that they can explore on their own and therefore develop independence and
initiative.
Lesson 3
Processing:
1. It is important the teacher as a facilitator of SCLE because teacher is a guide to the
students on what students should learn and what they need to achieve.
2. Those are can contribute to promoting SCLE because can increase the feeling of
classroom community, and give students a sense of empowerment.
3. In order to promoting the SCLE to the learners it can improve their ability and to
increase their interest by doing the various types of activities.
4. For me, the biggest challenges of transforming a learning environment to SCLE is the
lack of knowledge about student-centered instruction because if the students are don’t
understand for the teacher it is hard to achieve their learning objectives.
I realized that
Student centered learning environment are gives to the students a opportunity to learn
in their own ability, and helping students develop their critical-thinking and self-
reflection skills. Giving students the space to act as their advocates in the learning
process.
I believed it is essential to
Use the student-centered learning environment because it can help the student to
improve their communication skills and collaboration skill and also, it can increase
student interest in school activities and education in general.
When I become a teacher, I will
Let them know what topics should be covered and encourage them to research them.
Over time, this channel will become a valuable resource for everyone in the
organization.
Lesson 4
Processing:
1. It is important to the teachers that it can be an excellent way to improve the
school safety efforts. And also enhance the ability of the teacher by teaching
skills.
2. School safety and security have an impact to the students like an unsafe school is
more likely to lead to students who have emotional problems, particularly the
direct victims of violence or bullying.
3. It is important because it’s provided a safe school setting and the optimum
conditions for teaching and learning.
4. Activities and measures to avoid existing and new disaster risks (often less costly
than disaster relief and response). For instance, relocating exposed people and
assets away from a hazard area.
I realized that:
School safety and security is largely about prevention and planning ahead, i.e., school
safety professionals should also plan ahead. By promoting comprehensive, accredited
school safety training, you can pave the way for a safer, healthier learning environment
for children and youth in your community.
I believed
They need someone to turn to, someone who has the experience and training to handle
a potentially dangerous situation properly. You can be that person. With the right
combination of determination, strength, training, and a desire to do what’s right, you
can help better school safety and security in our community. You can have a role in
prevention and response.
From now on, I am determined to:
To be responsive a teacher, to make sure that my future students have a person that
they can ask for help when they need a guide. And ensure their safety and wellbeing.
Lesson 5
B.
1. Culturally responsive skills include recognizing and integrating the assets and
strengths that all students bring to the classroom, and ensuring that learning
experiences, from curriculum to assessment, are relevant. to all students. Additionally,
awareness of different backgrounds includes understanding and training to reduce the
effects of trauma they may face on a daily basis.
2. Promotes quality education as a human right and supports a rights-based approach to
the implementation of all educational activities
3. It is part of guiding children in their health, it also includes child care procedures
detailing how to respond to concerns about a child.
4. Understand through knowledge and understanding of the differences, inequalities
and different needs of women, men, transgender and intersex individuals, and the
relationship of gender identities to people’s histories, social and economic situation,
treatment needs, and mental experience.
5. Content should inform students about the different dimensions of their community
project and, likewise, community engagement should allow opportunities to learn
course content at a deeper level. Without this integration, student learning and
community impact may be limited.
Other comments:
If the school continues to operate and adheres to the characteristics of a child-friendly
school, the relationship between teacher and students will have a good relationship and
it can also have a positive effect on students' learning.
C.
1. By being responsive especially teachers and stakeholders
2. Allow students to be openly expressing and encouraging others in student work in a
variety of ways. And also, it safe where learners feel physically, emotionally, and socially
comfortable.
3. The school will encourage other students to enroll when it sees the policy and how it
benefits the student.
4. They can encourage the other students to be an active in various activities by giving
an approachable and feel them that they are free to express their ability.
5.  Provide a natural and important opportunity to involve the community in
making schools safe for children.
PROCESSING:
1. The child-friendly school environment will help students increase their
confidence where they can collaborate with other students by doing a variety of
school activities.
2. I will encourage staff members to be friendly and welcoming to children and
attend to all their health and safety needs.
3. What the school needs to do to be declared child friendly is to have unity and
guidance among the students.
B.
For me child-friendly school allows children to become educated and capable people
according to their potential and needs by undertaking the activities necessary for the
positive changes mentioned above.
I realized that
Child Friendly learning environments schools are characterized by equality, balance,
freedom, unity, non -violence and a caring for the physical, mental and emotional
health. These lead to the development of knowledge, skill, habit, appreciation, morality
so that the children can live together in a proper way. A child friendly school caring for a
school-friendly child, supportive children for development and a school -friendly
community.
I believed it is essential to
It is important for students to have a child-friendly school because it affects the child's
learning so that they will not be ashamed to show off their skills and increase their
confidence.
From now on, I am determined to
To use a variety of teaching methods and classroom activities to meet the different
learning needs of the children in their classes. At first, it seems to be a frightening idea
for those who teach in large classrooms containing 50 different children. So, they tend
to use “rote learning” such as memorization and repetition and remembering.
CHAPTER VIII
Lesson 1
A. Interview
1. My expectation from the student teacher is that they will learn and
implement questioning and discussion techniques that promote student
participation and knowledge acquisition.

2. Student teacher should go to educational conferences or workshops, or

attend online seminars. Participation in these types of events will make you a
more effective teacher.
Processing.
1. It is very important to me as a student internship because in this field I have so
many things that I have encountered that should I do.
2. Can introduce too many aspects of full-time employment while allowing you to
explore your interests and form your personal career goals.
I realized that
Being student- teacher, I still have a lot of rules to follow not only in teaching but in
behavior. Because it is necessary because I am a future teacher who will be the role
model of the students
I believed it is essential to
Taking on a student internship while in college allows students to work in their
desired field, helping them decide if the field is right for them.
From now on, I am determined to
Builds a strong, trusting relationship and maintains an open-minded approach and
the apprenticeship with the knowledge and experience needed to lead a classroom
and also create a classroom management plan through which they regularly employ
specific strategies to build positive relationships with and among students, set non-
instructional routines, and reinforce expectations for student conduct.
Lesson 2
A.
1. The person that you must to closely work with first is students, you need to
establish a good relationship to them. Second one is your co-teacher that they can
help you if need other ideas from them.
2. To know your students it is important because when you know your students, they
can feel comfortable with you and they learn best.
Processing:
1. Be friendly and make a connection. This may seem self-evident, but a friendly
word or smile can make someone's day. Try to find something in common: all of
us want to have close connections with our fellow humans.
2. You can learn a lot about students through simple observation. On the first day of
school, I take note of who they talk to most, so I know who they are friends with,
I take note if they read often, I take note of how they spend their time, etc.
I realized that
Observing one’s mentor teacher, a student teacher can create a high-quality
experience by arranging to observe multiple teachers in the school. Work with the
administration to establish a schedule or at least gain permission to go into different
classrooms to observe as many different levels, grades, subject areas, and teacher
personalities as possible.
I believed it is essential to:
To know your students and build a relationship to them and the more they know we
know them, the more invested they become in school. Also, a dynamic and vigorous
learning environment is built on relationships. When we create strong connections
with our students, we create a learning environment where risk-taking and
collaborative learning can take place.
From now on, I am determined to
Have them share their academic and social goals for the year. They might all fill in a
questionnaire for you to read, or you might create a bulletin board where each
student shares one personal hope or dream for the year.
Lesson 3
Guide practice
1. The things that I have done to make myself ready for teaching is to be a
productive person and to think that I will never waste my time.
2. The things that I’ve currently doing to make myself ready for teaching is having
an experience on how to create a lesson plan, create an activity, manage my time
and the last is on how to communicate to your students with calm voice.
3. The things that I still need to do is being productive because if you're
a productive person, you can do more with less time.
Processing:
1. These preparations will set the stage for better time and classroom management.
Connecting your curriculum to real-life events tells your students that you care
about their learning and what is important and of interest to them.
2. One of the challenges for me was to face a lot of responsibilities that you really
have to fit in your time and have no fun, there also came a time when I seemed
to have a hard time doing school works, but now one of my achievements is here.
I am in the field of teaching and become a teacher.
I realized that
When you are in the field of teaching preparation, you can encounter different
teaching methods and how to communicate with students. You would really think
that every hour is important for a teacher
I believed it is essential to:
Take a look at the district's website, and learn about the different characteristics of
your school community. It is important to know the student population you are
working with in order to develop successful and engaging lesson activities. The more
you are aware of school and community resources and your student’s interests,
experiences and values, the more you will develop ways to incorporate those
experiences into your lesson planning that relate to their interests.
From now on, I am determined to:
Need to learn about and prepare for common challenges faced by students in schools. As
someone who is already in the field of teaching, I need to learn to be strong and not be
weak especially in dealing with students because I know I can learn more in teaching and
different methods.

Lesson 4
Processing:

1. For me, the easiest task I will do is Documenting students ’progress because
all you have to do is review the work they have done.
2. The hardest to accomplish for me is Writing a lesson plan because it is so
time consuming for something that they generally already know the
direction they are going in. This is especially true of teachers that have
been in the classroom for several years.

I REALIZED THAT
I realize that there are many teacher tasks before planning and organizing that
need to be done. It takes time, finances, energy as well as the patient.
I BELIEVED IT IS ESSENTIAL TO
Accomplish the task of teachers is essential, because even though it is difficult
for a teacher, they still get good results from it and as a result they can follow
every step of teaching.
From now on, I am determined to
To organize and prioritize classroom materials and schedules makes for
successful teacher-student learning and efficacy. It is especially important
during the first few weeks of each school year and it will set the expectations
and classroom behavior for the duration of the year.
Lesson 5
Guided Practice
1. The highlights of my lesson are the cooperation and participation of students.
2. The areas can I improve on is on how to deliver appropriate way to my students, the
way on how to speak fluently.
3. If I given a chance to repeat my lesson, I will be going to improve is to catch the
attention of my listener and to be an active and participate in our lesson.

Processing:
1. The significant insights that I got from the experience is being a knowledgeable, thought
processes and his beliefs about how and why lessons are supposed to impact learning
outcomes.
2. In order to choose this profession, you must expect that you have many things that
you’ve encountered, of being a productive that you don’t waste your time. And that is
what I have discovered.

I realized that
The first thing that you must know about teaching as a profession is that teaching is about
inspiring and motivating students to realize and exceed their potentials. The greatest
teachers of all time have devoted their lives to inspiring and empowering their students to
achieve great things and be good human beings.
I believe it is essential to:
To build a career in teaching you need to understand the educational requirements as well.
There is no greater requirement to excel in teaching other than passion. But you need the
right qualifications to pursue a career in teaching.
From now on, I am determined to:
Improve my teaching skills, in which I use the various types of strategies so that I can boost
the students’ outcomes.

Narrative report of class observation:

First is she asked to everyone to lead the prayer, after that she has a short recap
then she asked to the students regarding to previous lesson then some students
were answer and there are Intrapersonal and Interpersonal, Different

ma'am maylen tackled last meeting. So that, she started the lesson and our topic is
all about the Types of speeches and speech style. There are the objectives First,
Identify the types of speeches and speech style and also Differentiate the three
types of speeches. After Ma'am maylen discussed she asked to students on what
they have learned and some students they differentiate the types of speech and they
explain each, and ma'am was so glad because we observed that all of the students
are listening to her while discussing. Before ma'am maylen provide assignment,
she checked the attendance and that's all for today.
