A : Well, not really because nowaday with so much violence and dishonesty in
the world, we have to watch out with others, and especially the neighbors.
B : No, I don't think so, if u have children, maintain a good relationship with
your neighbors, your kids can learn how to related to others.
A: Well, I know, but do u think some neighbors can make bad effect with your
kids? That's why some parents have to pay higher for their place to avoid bad
neighbors. And some neighbors doesn’t respect the privacy of others. It make
me uncomfortable.

B: Well. I think I love to live in the city more. I'll be surround by shopping mall,
restaurants, cafes, and health facilities to service my needs and quality of my

A: Really? I don't think that it's all good. Because of that I have to live with
surrounding roads and side-by-side housing, noise levels are much higher
compared to the country
B: But if u live in the country, u'll have to works harder to get the job u want.
Because there are usually limited work options in rural areas and less job
openings
A: Yeah, but if I get a job in city, I still can't afford many things in city too. You
know?
B: Why not? Although the city lifestyle is more expensive than in the country,
If you find a good job, the salary they pay you will be equal or higher than your

when they travel while other prefer to travel individually?
Thuy: Well, I totally agree with going with tour guide. Because the tour guide
will let you know more about that places and of course their knowledge is
trained and trustworthy. It’s great, right?
Nhi: I don’t know, because I prefer to travel alone. It have more experiences in
our life than go with a tour guide, you will better if you solve all your own
problem by yourself.
Thuy: Not really, you know nowhere in the world is safe right? So if you have
troubles as scam, pickpocket, kidnap,… or something like that the tour guides
can protect you.
Nhi: Yes, I agree. But sometimes I travel alone just want to reflect to myself
and it help to bring peace to my mind away from the noise of city or the stress
of studying, you know?
Thuy: Oh, sometimes, alone maybe is the best way for you. But if u have a tour
guide, you don’t have to worry about booking hotels, restaurans, transport from
the airport or between cities,… It’s save your time, right?
Nhi: Yeah, but I can do this things by myself. It just spend more time to do, not
too hard for me. I enjoy it.

they have changed a lot in the last few decades? and do you see the change as
positive or negative?
Nhi: Positive! of course. I think everything changes to make our lives easier and
more convenient.
Thuy: hmm, can you give some examples?
Nhi: Ok, not a problem. We are better equipped with many modern electric
devices such as TVs, fridges,.. and we have established hospitals, schools,
buildings, and factories nearby, which helps our local life better.
Thuy: I agree with you. However, these changes also have some negative
effects. Factories cause air and water pollution. There are more people , more
traffic jams and accidents , less spaces, and less fresh air.
Nhi: Sure, we have to exchange this for something else. That’s life. Well but I
hope oneday we could balance both positive and negative effects to get a
beautiful life.

Nhi: Well, u know nowaday technology is update every day. It is an
indispensable part of our lives today. Do u think that the advantages or
disadvatages ?
Thuy: Of course, I'm favor of idea that technological equipments do wonder for
humanity. It helps us save time, energy and solve all problems. It's great, right?
Nhi: Really? Why do u think that?
Thuy: Well, because technological help people communicate more conveniently
and easily all around the world without geographic adversities. It’s so great,
right?
Nhi: but do u know it bring some bad effect too? It makes users, especially
young generation depend on it so much as Tiktok, Fb, Intsta... some pp can't
live without the technological gadgets
Thuy: Not that bad! Maybe because the technological equiment can offer

Nhi: Yes, I'm addiction of shopping online. It has many stuff with different in
style, color and price when u shop online, u have more options to choose from.
How’s about u?
Thuy: Yeah, I know, but I still don't like it. Particularly when shopping online
for clothes, example, the sizes are not exact and sometimes it doesn't look like
as the pictures in real life. While u can see and touch it carefully in the real
stores. Isn't it better?
Nhi: Of course, sometimes it happens. But u know shopping online still more
convinient and save your time now. Especially, during the COVID-19, shopping
online keep u safe at home.
Thuy: Oh yeah, nowadays is very popular, but I think if everything is fine, I will
come to the store and choose the best things in there anyways. The feeling of

Thuy : Well, you know I study with my high school friends nearly 4 years, but I
just study university nearly 1 years, and the COVID is coming. So, at the
moment I still think high school friend is more important to me.

Because they look so matured and I can learn many new things from them.
Maybe we all come from different places in VN.
Thuy: Yeah, I know. But high school friends still had many memorible when
we was young, still purity and innocence. And now I have some friends still be

future too much. They are still very playful. So when I have any projects, I
always want to invited my uni friends, because they more profession and have

Thuy: Not really, I still don't understand my teacher told, I have to study it again
on computer. Hey Nhi do u think one day computer will replace teachers in the
classroom?
Nhi: Of course no! Computer is a machine, it don't have emotions like us. How
it can replace teacher, Thuy ? Every class will boring and we will study like
zombies in class. Do u want it?
Thuy: Not really, just because I think studying on the computer is more
convenient, more information and save more time. I think some pp can learn
better by themself just with computer.
Nhi: Yes, the computer gives you better information than teacher, but the role of
teacher is not simple give u that information. They are also your guides,
mentors and maybe your friends They help you improve ur social skills.
Thuy: Yeh, I do know. But everythinks now is devolopment day by day. Maybe
someday AI technological grow up and can behave like human, like us. It’s cool

Nhi: Well, quite tired today, I just done my part-time job
Thuy: Really? Why u have to work a part-time now? U should save time for
your lessons and exercises than do it.
Nhi: That's okay! if students work a part-time job now, it can get more practical
experiences for their future career. It’s great!
Thuy: Not really. I think we should maintain a good health for their study and it
may risk their life while working in an insecure enviroment.
Nhi: Not that bad! We can learn more about responsibilities as well as real life
challenges, so when you go outside the uni, u will more confident than others,
especially when we start a job after graduation.
Thuy: But why u have to learn this on part-time job? While u can learn this
when u join in club or some project in university.
Nhi: No, no... It’s quite different. Example the part-time job can improve time
management skill which are difficult to develop without activities outside
college.
Thuy: Oh, really? well, I will think about that. But always remember to put
learning first! Don't worry too much about making money at this stage, we're
still young.

Nhi: Hi Thuy! I just left my old company. Now I’m a freelancer.
Thuy: Oh. Really? Why you do that?
Nhi: It's just that I feel the job at the old company is not suitable for me
anymore. I am not the right person to do these office jobs.
Thuy: Okay, but being a freelancer means that your income and your workload
are unstable and inconsistent while you can have a steady salary that you get at
a traditional job.
Nhi: Oh. Not that bad. Becoming a freelancer, I can work anywhere and
whenever I want . I’m my own boss. It’s a great opportunity to me.
Thuy: No, That’s not great. Being your own boss and working from your home
also means you can distinguish between your work time and your personal life.
And you also have to find the works or projects to do. It's not easy for you
anymore
