To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing this letter to give my highest recommendation of Ms. Maria Lipets in her desire to enroll in
your preceptorship program. I had the pleasure of overseeing Ms. Lipets during her Med/Surg rotation at
HonorHealth Deer Valley Hospital in June of 2022 as her clinical instructor.

Over the course of her rotations, she proved herself as a dedicated and focused student. We went over
assignments including SBARs, physical assessments, a care plan project, as well as many clinical skills,
which she demonstrated excellence. When there were critiques to be made, Maria applied them the next
chance she had, exhibiting a growth mindset and an apparent desire to learn. She presented her adept
knowledge of nursing techniques, assessments, and pathophysiology skillfully as she related them to the
care of her patients. Her ambition towards the acquisition of new information to further her own
understanding of nursing practice is admirable.

Ms. Lipets is dedicated to the nursing profession. She is an active listener who desires to meet patients
where they are at and help them throughout each of their care journey. She displayed a proficient balance
in between forming connections with each health care team member, critical thinking skills, and
completing her tasks in a thorough and timely manner. Her ability to balance each patient’s emotional
integrity and provide them with the highest quality of care was impressive.

Maria is a true asset to any unit that has the pleasure of working with her, and I recommend her
completely. She stood out as an organized and dedicated student nurse, which I am confident she will take
with her throughout her career. I believe in her ability to excel in the nursing profession, and I wish her
the best of luck in her preceptorship and nursing journey, to which I recommend her without reservation.
