I will articulate my word on two points; how I built and maintained relationships in the past and how I

may use these skills in the future.

How I built and maintained relationships? I have been graduated in 2012 as Generalist Engineer in
Yamoussoukro, Cote d’Ivoire. Half a year before that, I had been delighted to participate to a business
game organized by Société Générale in Paris called CITIZEN ACT. It was a contest oriented toward
principles of sustainable cities where our project as a team of 3 students led by me got the 2 nd place.
This 6th CITIZEN ACT that had gathered in Paris in this February and April 2012 more than 300
participants from more than 50 nationalities has been my very first international experience from which
I have embraced professional and multicultural relationship. Till today, I have been in touch with several
of my contest mate, from china to Macedonia through Ghana and India. During this stay, I kept in mind
both team spirit and winning spirit; I understood that winning this contest will be followed by nice
recognitions, but time after, only genuine relationship could still open opportunities. So here, guenuine
relationship is the answer. And since this step, I have recorded other exposures to cultural diversity and I
have got time to understand and sharpen my approach toward other to remain as human as possible,
this is the second skill.

How I may use these skills in the future? Genuine relationship and human approach are emotional
intelligence skills that should be expressed with humility, sharing spirit and learning from everyone
approach and leadership. Thanks to that, I am strongly motivated to increase my exposure to diversity in
order to increase my ability to contribute differently and to share my passion and my vision. If I get the
chance to be involved in the Chevening scholarship, I trust I will meet other inspirited leaders from
which I will definitely be trying to built lasting and sustainable partnership for success.
