Teams Interviews: What to Expect

The Invitation
• You will receive an invitation to join the meeting.
• Upon opening the invitation link, you will be placed into a 'waiting room'
until we are ready to call you in.

Introductions
• Once you have joined the meeting, with videos on, we will introduce
ourselves.
• You will then be given a brief summary on the format of the interview.

Your Presentation (if applicable)

• If you are required to give a visual presentation, we will now ask you to
share your screen.
• This can be done by clicking on the following button:

Questions
• At the end of your presentation, cameras will remain on, however if there
are issues with connectivity cameras may be turned off to allow for optimal
connectivity.
• One of your interviewers will ask you your first question and the other
interviewer will be on mute to reduce background noise.
• The interviewers will be taking notes either manually or by typing as you
talk so if eye contact is not maintained it is because they are making notes.
• They may mute themselves at this stage so you are not distracted by the
sound of your thier keyboard while they make notes.
• If they need further clarification on the answer they will unmute and ask for
additional information or they will move to the next question.
• This process will be repeated until all questions have been asked.

Wrap-Up
• Once all questions have been asked, they will then unmute thier
microphones if they have been muted.
• This is then your opportunity to ask any questions that you might have.
• The interviewers will then ask to sight your passport or right to work
documents and in addition give you a summary of the package and
benefits.
