"Paghigugma nga Gihagkan sa Kahilakon"

Sa kamingaw sa gabii,
nagtan-aw ko sa langit,
naghatag og kamingaw,
ang kamatuora'ng imong gugma wala na diri.

Nga dili na matuman,

ang mga damgo sa atong kahiusahan,
nga gihandum nato sa matag adlaw,
karon dili na magmalampuson.

Gibati ko ang kasakit,

sa akong kasingkasing nga nag-antos,
sa pagbiya sa imong kahilakon,
apan kinahanglan ko nang maglakaw.

Dili nako malikayan,

ang kamatuoran nga dili kita para sa usa'g usa,
busa malinawon ko nga gitugotan nga mawala,
ang kasingkasing nga naghigugma sa imoha.

Ayaw hununga ang imong pag-abot,

sa mga damgo nga atong gihandom,
kay usahay ang hagit sa kinabuhi,
magpahiyom kita sa unsay naa sa atong palibot.

Dili ko magmahay sa akong desisyon,

kay nahibal-an ko nga gitagaan ko og kahigayunan,
nga makakat-on sa mga bag-ong leksyon,
nga makapalambo sa akong kaugalingon.

The title "Paghigugma nga Gihagkan sa Kahilakon" can be translated to

"Love Embraced by Sorrow" in English. It reflects the theme of the poem,
which talks about a love that is no longer present, causing sadness and
pain to the speaker. The poem highlights the realization that some dreams
and aspirations may not come true, and that it's important to accept the
reality and move on to learn new things and grow as an individual. The last
stanza shows the speaker's acceptance of the situation and willingness to
learn from it. The poem reminds us that even in difficult times, we can find
peace in the present moment and the things around us.

Leksyon, desisyon (Lagda 2 The vowel letter "e" remains the same in the
spelling of adopted foreign words whose constants (c, f, j, q, v, x, and z are
changed, as they are not found in SB alphabet)

Langit, kasakit (Lagda 1 Vowel "i" is used in the spelling of all native words
of the Binisaya language.)

Damgo, palibot (Lagda 4 The SB letter "o" is used in the last syllable of the
SB word.)
