"Stranger Things" is an American sci-fi horror drama series that has attracted

fans all over the world. The story takes place in a small town in Indiana in the 80s. A

young boy named Will is mysteriously kidnapped by an upside-down monster.

Will's three good friends met a girl with superpowers named Eleven in the process

of looking for Will. Strange and scary events start happening in this small town. No

one knew what kind of terrifying and dangerous forces they were facing. They

gradually discover the government's ulterior secret experiment and expose it. In my

opinion, there are several reasons why "Stranger Things" is so popular.

First of all, there’re nostalgic 80s entertainment. In the 1980s, when internet

computers, mobile phones, and handheld game consoles were not yet popular,

What was people's usual leisure and entertainment? In fact, it is not unfamiliar to

us now. People after that time would play board games and poker or read manga.

Who would have thought that 40 years later, "Stranger Things" would make board

games likened comics are popular again. Because in schools and picnic parties,

many people can be seen reading comics, playing cards or playing board games.
 The second reason, "Stranger Things" are the design inspiration for the

current fashion trend. For example, the head of the protagonist of "Stranger

Eleven nosebleeds head every time he uses his superpowers. In many countries,

celebrities wore it and drove more and more fans to follow it, making "Stranger

Phenomenal American drama.

The third reason, learn English with" Stranger Things". For example, In many

countries, You Tube, or social media and English teachers recommend watching

"Stranger Things" to learn English. Because Stranger Things has a lot of English

words related to science fiction and education, and it can also learn a lot of English

idioms of teenagers. In particular, the dialogue speed between the little boys is not

particularly fast. I think it is more make it easier for learners of English to

understand the terms that are close to life.

"Stranger Things" is full of mystery, suspense and exciting plot, which makes this
series popular all over the world. The compact plot and the strong sense of mystery

permeate the whole series, which will make you feel restless and your heartbeat

faster. If you haven't watched "Stranger Things", you might as well try watching it.

"Stranger Things" would make you feel like you are going back to the 80s. I believe
