Reflection

10/13 students met the standard.

3 students were absent and never completed the test.

It was a very straightforward period. The students were on task as they went about
taking their tests and completing their notes. If they were done, they quietly
worked on other things, either work they owed other teachers or me.
Teaching Standards and Rationale

Standard 6 Assessment 6(j):

As an educator, I understand the differences between formative and summative

applications. I know when to give the students a formative assessment to inform me how they
are doing during our unit. I also understand when to give students summative assessments and
how to balance them out.
