1. Food Spoilage (Physical Hazard)

this is Nilaga made by my mother and based on observing

and smelling, the food was spoiled. That’s why it is under the
Physical Hazard as it can harm the health of the person.

2. Muriatic Acid ( Chemical Hazard)

Putting Muriatic Acid in reachable areas like under the

kitchen cabinet may affect Children or kids and may cause
them harmful effects on their bodies.

3. Octopus Wiring ( Physical Hazard)

This was our outlet and after I took a picture, I removed

all the cables as they can cause electrical fires and can damage
our house.

 4. Dengue (Biological Hazard)

Our Barangay starts to remove all the potential causes of Dengue by

cleaning the drainage and removing holdwaters. They always do this
every year to prevent the outbreak of dengue.

5. Improper posture movement from laptop use (Ergonomic Hazard)

Improper posture movement can affect the body parts and can
experience stiffness, headaches, muscle strain, and more. This
is my posture every time I do my tasks on my laptop. After learning
the effect, I immediately ordered ergonomic pillow support on Shopee.

6. Aerosol Spray ( Chemical Hazard)

Our house uses scented aerosol spray to fight bad odors. We usually go
outside every time my mom sprays as inhaling as it prevents you from
breathing in any oxygen. Moderation is the key when using an Aerosol
spray, not every day.

7. Radiation (Physical Hazard)

Radiation is harmful, especially when it is frequently used. For that

reason, I always lessen the brightness and also schedule what time
I will use and not use.

8. Drinking Tap water (Biological Hazard)

Drinking Tap water is bad because you are allowing the toxic
pollutant to ruin your respiratory system. It may be clean outside
but scrutinizing what is inside is not healthy for the body.

 9. Second-Hand Smoke (Chemical Hazard)

We have a sari-sari store and my mother sells cigarettes.

Since she has a lot of buyers of cigarettes, it is vulnerable
for me to sniff second-hand smoke. As a result, I told my
mother to prohibit smoking in our sari-sari storeand to
distance themselves from our house every time
they do it.

10. Damaged electrical wires and cables (Physical hazard)

This was my old laptop charger and noticing the damaged wires, it was
caused by our dogs and cats chewing on it. I immediately brought a
new one because aside from that it is not working anymore, I might get
shocks and cause a fire.

11. Overheat electric fans (Physical hazard)

Overusing electric fans can acquire fires, especially when

used in a hot climate like the Philippines. That’s why
it is important to schedule when you only will use it and

12. Rabies

Rabies is a common virus here in the Philippines, and as a

family who has dogs and cats, it is important for us to take
care of them by giving them anti-rabies vaccination in
order for us to be safe and healthy.
