What would happen to heart rate if some stimulus caused blood pressure to

decrease? Would this occur by way of positive or negative feedback?

Feedback loops are the responses to a stimulus of biological systems to either increase
the change to the system or reduce it to bring the system back to normal. The output of a
system could either amplify the system (positive feedback) or inhibit the system (negative
feedback). Allowing living organisms to their internal environment relatively constant
(homeostasis).
A negative feedback loop helps regulate blood pressure. If some stimulus caused blood
pressure to decrease, the heart rate would increase and the blood vessels decrease is
diameter. All due to the operation of the negative feedback system.
