CRANK SHAFT :-

•The crankshaft converts

reciprocative motion to
rotational motion it
contains counter weights
to smoothen the engine
revolutions
BALL BEARING :-

•The function of a ball

bearing is to connect two
machine members that
move relative to one
another in such a manner
that the frictional
resistance to motion is
minimal.
3/2 SOLENOID VALVE :-

• . Solenoid valves are control

units which, when electrically
energized or de-energized,
either shut off or allow fluid
flow. The actuator takes the
form of an electromagnet.
When energized, a magnetic
field builds up which pulls a
plunger or pivoted armature
against the action of a spring.
Compressor Tank

• The compressor draws in air

and creates a vacuum to
reduce its volume. The vacuum
pushes the air out of the
chamber and into its storage
tank. Once the storage tank
reaches its maximum air
pressure,
FREEWHEEL

• How exactly does the

freewheel work? A freewheel
is a mechanism located in the
rear hub of a bicycle. It ensures
that the pedal does not
automatically rotate in the
direction of the rear wheel
when it moves. In short, the
freewheel decouples the
connection between rear hub,
chain, sprocket and pedals.
PNEUMATIC ACTUATOR

• A pneumatic actuator
mainly consists of a piston
or a diaphragm which
develops the motive
power. It keeps the air in
the upper portion of the
cylinder, allowing air
pressure to force the
diaphragm or piston to
move the valve stem or
rotate the valve control
element.
Tube

A long hollow and typically

cylindrical object, used for the
passage of fluids or as a container.
a collapsible cylindrical container
of soft metal or plastic closed with
a cap, used to hold viscous liquids
or pastes.
Fitting
Working on components
with hand tools and
instruments, mostly on
work benches is
generally referred to as
'Fitting work'. The hand
operations in fitting
shop include marking,
filing, sawing, scraping,
drilling, tapping,
grinding, etc.,using hand
tools or power operated
portable tools.
POWER TRANSMISSION

• The most important part of the project is power transmission

system. We are using 4 solenoid coil and these coil are act as 4 stock
transmission, we are using simple technique to transmit the same
power. We take one circular wooden piece and divide that circle in
to 4 parts.

Crank shaft wheels

WHEEL

• A wheel reduces friction by

facilitating motion by rolling
together with the use of
axles. In order for wheels to
rotate, a moment needs to be
applied to the wheel about its
axis, either by way of gravity or
by the application of another
external force or torque.

CHAIN

The holes in the chain links fit over

the sprocket teeth. When the
prime mover rotates, the chain
wrapped on the shaft's sprocket
rotates with it. This applies
mechanical force onto the driven
shaft, transmitting mechanical
power in the process.
SPROCKET

A sprocket is a toothed wheel that

fits onto a shaft. It is prevented
from rotating on the shaft by a key
that fits into keyways in the
sprocket and shaft. A chain is used
to connect two sprockets. One
sprocket is the driver sprocket.
ADVANTAGE

➢ The price of fueling air powered vehicles will be significantly

cheaper than current fuel.
➢Compressed air vehicles are unconstrained by degradation problem
associated with current battery system.
➢ The advantage are well publicized since the developers need to make
their machine attractive to investors. Compressed air vehicles are
comparable in many ways to the electric vehicles, but use as compressed
air to store the energy instead of batteries .
DISADVANTAGE

➢ It has relatively less speed.

➢Limited capacity of storage tank
➢Limited speed range (110-140)
➢When air expands in the engine it cools
dramatically and must be heated to ambient
temperature
➢Refueling takes 3-4 hours
➢Since this engine is not yet common it cannot be
refilled at home but needs a compressor
